I once got one of the e-mail thingys that asks questions of you. You're supposed to answer the questions and then send it on to friends so that they can "know you better". One of the questions was "What is your favorite sound"? My reply was "The sound of a baby belly laughing". This video had me laughing out loud. Thanks, little baby. I needed that!!!
It's better than watching a 20 year old clip of Billo when he still had hair. At least the baby has a sense of humor.
I think my new puppy is a helluva lot cuter. Also the puppy will have a much smaller carbon foot print.
That's why we've decided to not make babies. Any new babies may have no future at all due to global warming----along with depletion of the food supply to make fuel for 500 million gas guzzling SUV's world wide. Sorry to rain on everyone's parade, but let's get real, folks. Why would you want to put your babies into a world that is an apocalyptic dystopia. Don't you love your children?

Don't talk behind your back.
Are always happy to see you. Even if you have been gone 30 seconds.
Protect you from burglers, rapists, and bad people in general.
Are excellent chick magnets. Or guy,as the case may be.

I also felt this way in the late 60s early 70s. Somewhere along the way, I decided to take a more hopeful path. My two children have been my joy, and the five boy grandchildren I now have make my life worth living. Do I fear for their future? Every bit as much as I did before I had children...maybe more. Do I love my children? Absolutely. That is why I continue to fight the domination of our world by corporatists, republican fascist war mongers and profiteers, and religious extremests. Without these destructive elements controlling the fate of humanity, all would be able to live better lives. As long as I breathe, I will continue to be an advocate of peace...because the quality of my precious childrens' lives is worth my effort.
