Mccain And Obama

New York Times:

Senators John McCain and Barack Obama are already drawing up strategies for taking each other on in the general election, focusing on the same groups -- including independent voters and Latinos -- and about a dozen states where they think the contest is likely to be decided this fall, campaign aides said.

In a sign of what could be an extremely unusual fall campaign, the two sides said Saturday that they would be open to holding joint forums or unmoderated debates across the country in front of voters through the summer. Mr. Obama, campaigning in Oregon, said that the proposal, floated by Mr. McCain's advisers, was "a great idea."

obama is cool in a debate but takes too long to answer questions. typical professor type gives a large overview for the answer and people want a quick and precise answer.

he has become better thanks to hillary. the universe works in mysterious ways. hillary may have been of great benefit to him bringing out much of the bad stuff like the rev. wright sermons and helping him to learn to debate better.

hope obama brings up the ketting five and how mc war helped to cost americans several hundred billions of dollars in saving and loans failure by deregulation. neil bush of the bush crime family was in on that also and daddy bailed him out.

rev wright was that far off base with his quote of the chickens have come home to roost. most amerians are in complete denial. ask dennis when he took on the industrial military complex. just talked to a guy on the golf driving range and he talked what a great benefit the industrial military complex is for good paying jobs in america.

no mention of the suffering it causes in the world. most americans are imperialists.

on the flip-side -- Obama did The Clintons a huge favor
by saving her from what the Rethugs would have done to her.

It is the Ultimate NeoCon Wet Dream to slaughter a Clinton

The Universe - alas, the mystery is more sensical than the reality

Ooooh, very scary. That would have been truly a disaster. I still think the neocons have something else on Hill & Bill that would have smoked her permanently - that's why Rush has been salivating to make her the nominee.

I do think that all the debates have made Obama better - after 21 (seems like more, doesn't it...) But then, I don't think it will take much to take on old man McCain.

Takes too long to answer the questions????????

The man THINKS about what he says, thank God. When he answers, he always makes sense.

I suppose you prefer Bush's long pauses between phrases and ahhhhhh ahhhhhhhh ahhhhhhhh while he waits for the little voice in his ear to tell him the next 3 words he is supposed to say.

or maybe the knee-jerk canned responses of a certain someone we just witnessed self-detonate.

Yes, I am so grateful to see a politician who pauses and thinks before they speak

John Kerry and Al Gore were criticized for the same thing.

I sure hope people are growing past that weird hang-up.

Obama can sometimes have those ahhhhs in his responses as well. I also agree that his responses are much more thoughtful and "real" than what you find from Hillary. However, McCain often comes off as very authentic as well.

You think Hillary will still be campaigning when these debates between McCain and Obama start? This is a true slap in her face.

Everything one needs to know about McCain/Lieberman/Neo-Con AGENDA: http://www.pbs.org /moyers/journal/03072008/watch.html

please take the time to inform yourselves . . . this is our path to victory in 2008. Spread the link and bring awareness to this sick, twisted, horrific anti-American fascist ideology and agenda.

We do not need these people controlling the most powerful position in the free world -- it would be to our certain peril as a free nation.

I am actually begging you to engage and shout out from the mountain tops. please. Knowledge and Information are our greatest weapon. I can't believe even the most "reasonable" conservatives would support this madness.

Please -- Do Something!!!

More proof that Hillary "I'll obliterate Iran" Clinton is a Neocon:

"Lieberman recently approached one prominent supporter of Hillary Clinton with a suggestion that he consider supporting McCain if Barack Obama is nominated."

I canʻt wait to see the debates between Obama and McCain. I hope Johnny learns to read before then!

Had lunch yesterday with a friend whose entire family is dyed in the wool Republican except for her. They are very prosperous business owners. She told me all of them are voting for Obama.

Wow this is something I can't imagine ending well for one of them. They both have weaknesses when it comes to debating and it's likely one will be able to exploit the other persons weaknesses. If Obama is able to needle McCain enough to boil over it could be a deal breaker. At the same time he has to be very careful not to come off arrogant as that has been his weakness throughout the campaign.
