Jenna Bush Wedding Pictures

The AP reports on the President's sentiments following the marriage of his daughter Jenna to Henry Hager on Saturday in Crawford, Texas:

"We're mighty blessed," Bush said at an airport in Waco where he boarded Air Force One to return to Washington.

Bush called the wedding "spectacular," saying that his daughter and new son-in-law exchanged vows just as the sun set at the Texas ranch.

"This Mother's Day weekend was awfully special for Laura and me," said the president, his wife standing at his side.

Bush referred to the new bride as "our little girl Jenna" and declared his new son-in-law to be "a really good guy"

A White House official confirmed by e-mail at 9:28 p.m. EDT Saturday that the two had been officially hitched.

These people are richer than Croesus so why on earth did they want to get married on a farm ? I don't blame them for wanting to get away from the press etc, and I suppose the security round Mr Bush's smallholding is already quite tight, but really !! On a farm ?? Well, good luck to them - they have a lot to live down having such an awful father/fat­her-in-law­.

Jenna is a babe. But I have to ask the person who commented that the Bush's have caused the most pain and suffering since World War II--Are you NUTS? Please explain this one. I always liked Jenna... and her sister as well. Neither of them seemed to give a rat's patoot how their behavior reflected on their dad. "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" indeed.

Anyway, she's a total babe, she looked gorgeous in that dress, I hope she has a really happy, loving marriage and becomes a progressive political activist.

While I am no fan of the Bushes at ALL, I think Jenna looks absolutely gorgeous.
I wish this young couple well...after all, she isn't the one that started this war, she's not the one who has put the economy in the tank...in fact i think that she does all kinds of charity work, working w/ poor children, etc. so for that I commend her.
