Late Thursday night, Karl Rove, the architect of the last two Republican presidential victories, was on his new television perch at Fox News, offering free advice to Senator Barack Obama as he closed in on the Democratic nomination....

"Wouldn't taking his advice be a little like getting health tips from a funeral home director?" said Mr. Obama's press secretary, Bill Burton.

Funeral directors perform a very useful service, and, let's face it, there will ALWAYS be a demand for that service. I can't think of one useful thing that Karl Rove has done in his life--the least useful thing he did was persuading Frat Boy to get into politics (since he was a failure at everything else he did!). The rest, as they say, is infamy!

sorry, I think he is second to James Carville, that guy is gross, and he wasn't when he was younger, so he is Dorian Grey in reverse... his ugly soul is visible on the outside. Rove is a very close second. ;)

Every time i see Rove on the t.v. I just start laughing. It's fun to see a spinner out of power & trying to sell himself.

Karl Rove, like anyone with intelligence listens to this moron. I personally have boycotted Newsweek because they allow that pea brain to express his views in their magazine. Everyone should call and express their concerns for our young kids being exposed to such a , ah can't exactly find the word that is appropriate.
Fox News: Reality check , only nut jobs watch your network, your ratings are down and you basically are so bias that I personally have blocked the channel so my children aren't exposed to your rhetoric.

Karl Rove what a complete joke! I am LOL

Doesnt he remind you of Joeseph Goebbles mostly because he is a facist swine. And because this guy could have easily worked for ether Stalin or Hitler as their director of Agitprop.

Wise up, people. Rove engineered Obama's candidacy in the first place, with the goal of knocking out Clinton. In 2004, he went to Chicago, the most corrupt political town in the nation, and found this good-looking character with skeletons bulging in his closet. Plenty of October Surprises there. All he had to do was get him elected to U.S. Senate, so Dennis Hastert and the Illinois G.O.P. ran an unknown from Maryland against him, and presto, it's Senator Obama. A year later the presidential exploratory committee is formed, former Bush strategists and fundraisers climb on board, the brother of Fox News VP David Rhodes hires on as the senior speechwriter, and the corporate media starts offering classes to its employees on how to ask questions that embarrass Hillary Clinton. For more on the Ocober Surprises, see an article I've posted at thecityedition.com. Here's a link.

I've always compared him to "Squealer" in Orwell's Animal Farm.

I get Burton's point.
One could call Rove anything, but that would be insulting anything.
Rove would never say: "I am not a crook"
But then like Kristol, credibility is not their job.
I am astonished that their words are even repeated.

I have to agree that the headline involving funeral directors is disresepctful to the people employed in this profession. On the other hand, the article gives more insight into Karl Rove - monster-at-large. Fox News seems to be a fitting place for this abomination of a man.

Burton better issue a quick apology to funeral directors.

Not a very good comparison.

Funeral directors, in general, do not help kill the people for whom the funeral is held.

"...Bill Burton Compares Rove To A Funeral Director."

I agree with other posters that this is an insult to funeral directors everywhere. Funeral directors help arrange a long, cathartic goodbye to deceased loved ones. As a key part of the Bush 'plague' visited upon America, Rove was instrumental in increasing the number of deceased loved ones.

Burton's description of Rove is the best one I have heard yet~~~
