Sarah

"Sex and the City" had its world premiere Monday in London. Looking every inch Carrie Bradshaw, Sarah Jessica Parker stepped out in a Phillip Treacy hat and Alexander McQueen dress resembling a plant, complete with two butterflies. This hat moment was reminiscent of a scene from the hit show (scroll all the way down to watch video).

All four girls worked the red carpet together at the Odeon in Leicester Squar and intermittently stopped to sign autographs for the hordes of fans. Scroll down for more pictures of Kristin Davis, Cynthia Nixon, Kim Cattrall and Sarah Jessica Parker.

Watch this scene from season six of the show then vote if you like her recent hat or not:

They look great. All of them. Sarah, lose the hat.

Well, before I make my judgement, I would like to know what, if any comment she made about it on the red carpet. Was it a kitchy, good-clean-green global warming publicity stunt? Good God, let's hope so. I love Sarah and SATC, and I too wonder about the reason for the hits she takes about her appearance. My guess is it is male backlash for her never fixing her cute nose and for the sexcapades of her oh-so-sexually-free character Carrie on SATC. (Not to mention the way Carrie treated some of the male characters over the years...kick Aiden out your bed, are you CRAZY girl?!?!?!?) However, stunts like this don't help your cause, Sarah! Take a look over at the lovely, tasteful dress Miss Davis is wearing -- maybe borrow a page from her fashion book. Just a thought. Can't wait for the movie, though! Go Sarah, Go! :-)

Okay, I'm dishing:

SJP -- didn't like any of it
CN -- hate the dress, she looks pretty good (hair, etc.)
KD -- as usual, she looks good all over
KC -- slightly unsure of the "poof" on top but it might be only because only 3 have none. Overall, she looks good

It might have worked if she was a prettier woman but, since she's pretty fugly, this look does her absolutely NO favors.

It works well with her root face.

Why is it that so many people like to make fun of her looks? I've always thought she was absolutely beautiful.
