With Clinton holding a huge lead in the latest West Virginia polls, her win there is all but assumed. One energetic Hillary supporter even suggested a 60-point margin tonight, a claim that the camp was eager to walk back.

I'm willing to concede WV to Hillary. Congrats to Hillary and her supporters on her win. Unfortunately for her, it doesn't change the outcome but a win is a win and we should be gracious about it. As for the voters in WV, by November they will have had a chance to get to know Obama and understand that McCain will not make their lives any better. For those who wouldn't vote for him based on race, the majority of them would probably not vote for a woman in the general either.

I was born in West Virginia (Beckley to be exact) and I also spent many summers there...I love it, despite its imperfections. Yes, you have your racist and bigots in West Virginia but, I can leave out of my office here in the big city of Atlanta and encounter the same bigoted mindsets and racism. WV was a non-slavery state and separated from VA at the time of the Civil War. But today, the camera in the streets show an open hated towards blacks, and Obama's half-white ancestry doesn't seem to count. I wonder why?
