Conyers

Just off the House floor today, the Crypt overheard House Judiciary Committee Chairman John Conyers tell two other people: "We're closing in on Rove. Someone's got to kick his ass."

Asked a few minutes later for a more official explanation, Conyers told us that Rove has a week to appear before his committee. If he doesn't, said Conyers, "We'll do what any self-respecting committee would do. We'd hold him in contempt. Either that or go and have him arrested."

Just arrested?

That's just for starters.

Rove deserves the Hangman's Noose.

He's not good enough for a firing squad.

Let's go with some old-fashioned Law & Order:
Hang him high and let him fry.

I know your angry, so am I, but how about simple incarceration in prison; you know a maximum security prison in the South somewhere where they work in field crews were stripes and are kept in chains. I don't believe in more death penalties, but hey, he deserves "equal protection" under the law.

Peacekitten stated that Halliburton's Dubai HQ is across the street form the Bank of China,

inferring that their money laundering reputation may indicate some very shady relationship.

I have gone further, suggesting that the Chinese have been willing financiers of our Crusade

for Muslim Resources for even more nefarious reasons, best explained by Huxley's BNW.

Two giants acting as opponents in limited and endless wars while remaining each others

largest trading partners, sound familiar? At the same time Like warned US of our own MIC,

Mao was warning his people of the same kind of MIC entrenchment taking over in China!!!

Rupert Murdoch is the Grand Lizard, connecting the "Red" Chinese w/ our neocons, Israeli

Likudists, the corporatists in Europe/Australia plus the Saudi Royals and Pakistani elite.

Remember the BCCI, CIA, GHWB connections? Iran/Contra's gun and drug trafficking? This

New World Order shit has been going on for decades, involving drugs, oil and mass murder.

I am dreaming so much about the possibility that within one year from today, some Congressman will have already made the exaxt same public comment about another individual ... George W. Bush.

Please arrest him and put him in an orange jump suit. I want my tax dollars to accomplish something besides paying off KBR and Blackwater.

My vote's for arresting him. Maybe he'll try and escape and he'll get what any "presumably innocent" black man would get from the police in this country.

As with others, I had great hopes for Nancy and company in '06 but as we've all seen, they have no "balls" to do the right thing. She appears to be mostly content as long as proceedings are conducted in a "civil" manner , and nothing more. The fact that the congress has a constitutionally mandated "duty" to get Bushco under control and hold them accoutable appears to , not be of any concern (or perhaps be to "unseemly"). I (as a male) have never had a problem with having a female leader but now I'm not so sure anymore ---- it appears to be a question of "BALLS" (either having them or not). Perhaps its an anatomical problem.

I'm not so sure you have it right. Hillary had balls but she was totally off the wall. Thatcher may have been misguided at times, but she was always gracious, had class and extremely firm ("the Iron Lady").
Indira Ghandi similarly...no nonsense with her, and she had class.
Condi Rice was totally uselss with her spiked boots and mushroom cloud lies.
I thinki it boils down to having the right leader whether male or female. Hillary set the feminist movement back many years, as did Ferraro.

US announces deal to send 500,000 tons of food to North Korea

By ANNE GEARAN
The Associated Press
Friday, May 16, 2008; 11:46 AM

WASHINGTON -- The United States said Friday it has reached a deal with North Korea to provide 500,000 metric tons of food aid over the coming year to the closed-off communist nation.

The Bush administration says the aid is unrelated to its nuclear disarmament deal with Pyongyang, although both have involved an unusual intensity of U.S. diplomacy with a nation President Bush once included as part of a rhetorical "axis of evil."

The State Department announced the food agreement after weeks of talks over how the aid would be distributed. The United States wants assurances the food won't be diverted or used improperly by the government of Kim Jong Il.

The U.S. said it does not know exactly how much the deal will cost, because prices will depend on such variables as the costs of food and shipping, both of which are rising fast.
Pyongyang "has been open in saying it faces a major shortage in food supplies,"
"The president thinks that the government is certainly diverting food to the military and not giving it to the people," White House press secretary Dana Perino said
.
. "But outside of politics, the president's heart hurts when he knows that people are starving, and especially because _ especially for children, who are maybe trying to go to school."

Bush is full of BS!!!!

Conyers nor any other democrate has the nuts to go after anyone, that was shown about a year ago when he and others made threats they never carried out about bush and his staff if fact they never even had any congressional investigations into matters on iraq,Rove or any of the Bush people, all they do is talk.

It is not "nuts" that is lacking, I'm reletively sure Mr. Conyers is physically sound. It is INTEGRITY that is in woefully short supply!
