Joe Biden Slams Bush For Obama Appeasement Comments

Sen. Joe Biden (D-DE), chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee absolutely tore into President George W. Bush for his comments from Israel, which appeared to take a swipe at Obama.

Bush said this morning, "Some seem to believe we should negotiate with terrorists and radicals, as if some ingenious argument will persuade them they have been wrong all along. We have heard this foolish delusion before. As Nazi tanks crossed into Poland in 1939, an American senator declared: 'Lord, if only I could have talked to Hitler, all of this might have been avoided.' We have an obligation to call this what it is -- the false comfort of appeasement."

Bush! it is not appeasing Hitler that is the question. The question is why Hitler REFUSED to listen to reason and insisted on sending the Wehrmacht to its destruction at Stalingrad.

I saw John Kerry yesterday smiling and shaking his head in disbelief while being interviewed on CNN. He said "it's almost sad." Yeah, it is sad. It surpasses sadness.
The only positive note is that we already know Bush will go down in the annals of history as the worst American president. With a Democratic victory in Nov. and this guy finally hitting the high road, I think a VJ Day type celebration is in order.

Sorry, I was so Livid when I just wrote my blog, I left out some words.\

Correction: The Media will NOT expose Bush and his over 10- year relationship with Osama Bin Laeden because they are Repulicans. So he gets a free ride and has gotten a free ride since he became President. To deal with foreign enemies, we don't need another "bull-headed" Presiden that won't even listen to his own cabinet and staff, which many were opposed to the Irag war.

But like "real families" all of Bush cronies would rather go down in flames with him, than go against him and the Repulicans that do disagree find themselves on the outside looking in.

Time for Congress to revoke the Telecommunications Act so we can return media ownership to small businesses who have a local perspective and the public interest in mind. Corporate America does not give a shit about any of that and they should be forced to sell their media holdings. Radio and TV airwaves belong to We the People and Corporate America pays nada to trash our democracy using them. Tie for change of media ownership. Time for some new voices to be heard. I'm sick of the Rabid Right and their talking heads spewing garbage, anger and hate. I want my country back and we should start with the President and Congress, then work our way to changing who owns the media.
