MSNBC :

Sen. Joe Biden (D-DE), chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee absolutely tore into President George W. Bush for his comments from Israel, which appeared to take a swipe at Obama.

Bush said this morning, "Some seem to believe we should negotiate with terrorists and radicals, as if some ingenious argument will persuade them they have been wrong all along. We have heard this foolish delusion before. As Nazi tanks crossed into Poland in 1939, an American senator declared: 'Lord, if only I could have talked to Hitler, all of this might have been avoided.' We have an obligation to call this what it is -- the false comfort of appeasement."

"The Final Days" : Bush has morphed into Richard Nixon as the COUNTDOWN begins for the liberation of the United States on Jan 21, 2009. What a sad and pathetic man W Bush is. While his voice quakes and trembles giving such a treasonous speech in Israel, it is certain that his man has just crossed over the line into a real live mental case right before our eyes.

I fear for our country now more then ever. Giving up golf for the troops. Comparing Senator Obama to Neville Chamberlain. What's next? Saying that his dog knows more about foreign policy then that bozo?

Bush is a very very very very sick man. I have never in my lifetime seen such a tormented and twisted man as President of the United States. Somebody needs to put this psychopath out of his misery, Will somebody PLEASE send this demented man a bag of pretzels.

Your frustration is understanable.
But with all of Richard Nixon's many faults, he was two things that Bush never was or will be:
Intelligent and his own man.
Bush is a corn-fed bozo, chosen by the elite in his party. Unlike Nixon, he never did his own fighting or thinking. He outsourced his thinking to impractical academics like Wolfowitz and arrogant self-overestimators like Cheney. Then he himself did a chimpanzee-like imitation of Ronald Reagen. The result, of course, is the worst presidency in the history of this country and an unfortunate guilt by associaton of Democracy, a term which he over-used, but had no true concept of.
I know all of this Bush stuff goes without saying. But as bad as Nixon was, we would have done much better these past 8 years with him.

The strength of Obama's primary campaign has been that he was able to dictate the conversation. The Republican's are doing what they do best, pushing buttons and having the Demcrats explain, complain and seem weak. They are already taking the conversation where they want it to be.

This tactic was designed to deflect actions that follow in its wake. Bush, who vowed to get those who attacked us on 9/11 and has not, is giving Saudi Arabia, where 14 of the 19 hijeckers came from, nuclear capability. I bet giving them this technology that we paid for in lives and money will so impress the Saudis that gas will drop to below $2/gal, where it was before 9/11. Anyone who believes that must be a republican.

If you want your costs for gas to drop (as a percentage of income), buy a lottery ticket.

Joe Biden!

Way to represent!!! Thank you for calling Bush's comments on the carpet! They are B*******! And thank you Joe Biden for remaining respectful while abroad and defending Bush- that is taking the high road and it allows america to remain, or at least appear strong.... (I know I couldn't bite my tongue!)

This is only going to keep getting ugly. The Republicans are going to use the politics of Fear, mainly because they are AFRAID!!! They are loosing key seats in conservative areas, like the most recent in Mississippi! There is a serious political shift happening in the USA right now!

So Now Obama has gone from juggling the attacks of both McCain and Hillary to McCain, Hillary and President Bush!!! We are going to need other Dems like Biden to help fight back and move us forward to regain any shred of respect in the International community!

The power establishment is petrified at the prospect of a genuine democratization of our democratic process with the Presidency of Obama. No more synthetic derivatives of a corrupted process called "democracy." POWER to the PEOPLE.

Funny...when I click on the "Post a Comment" block it goes right to the "Logged in as BrickSykes" and I start typing, and I click "Preview", proof it, and then click "Post Comment". Then my comment stays up for maybe three or four minutes and is then deleted. Is this happening to any of you other commentors?

Another thing...I went to the "Comment Policy" page the first time I was "Banned" and noticed after I read it that it was administered by The Walt Disney Company, or some such. Now everyone knows that Ol' Walt was a pretty unapologetic RightWinger, so I'm wondering: Has HuffPo been sold to ABC-Walt Disney?

If you're gonna answer you might better make it FAST!

To the grimfreeper/commiekazi types who insist that Bush could have been talking about Carter or others:

I watched the speech on C-Span an it was interesting how the crowd was reacting or not reacting to his speech. Laura Bush didn't clap and looked sour sitting next to Condi. A number of seats were vacant. One man pulled out his ear piece after Bush made the Hitler comment and others were looking around at thier friends to see how they were reacting to Bush. There was no thunderous appaulse, weak and tepid at most.

Sounds like a lot of surrender monkeys on this thread. Good thing Isreal is strong enough no to have to cave to the bozos with the anti Zionist garbage perpetuated by this fringe left. How can Democratic jews stand this? They should follow Lieberman a wise democrat. These college student need to put the bong down and go get a job. Really.

Bush should restrict all US aid to the Saudis. They suck so bad and Bush is so weak it is truly pathetic. Grant no visas to the royal family, ask Isreal to bomb some f-16 airfields and watch the oil flow.

A rocket fire by terroists in Palestinian territory is bad, they are targeting innocent civialns.
A missle(no dumb rockets here) aimed at a military target is good. Too bad our communist colleges are brainwashing the youth of this country.

First of all let's get 'real' and realize that's it's Israel, not 'is real.' I'm sure those brainwashed college students majoring in Surrender Monkey have put their bongs down long enough to learn to spell Israel, whereas your pristine, unwashed brain has not.
Secondly, I see we've brought out that lovely old cold war, winger term 'brainwashed.' (it was one of the illustrious J Edgar Hoover's favorite terms) Let's review some of its usage in the past. In the 60's MLK had been 'brainwashed' by his puppet masters in the Kremlin; Antiwar demonstrators were all 'brainwashed' to not love war; Colleges have long been known for their coin operated Brain Washing machines found throughout their campuses, which do a super job of cleaning those hard to remove stains like blind patriotism, bigotry and the need to kill anyone who is 'different.' We see today the unfortunate result of all this brain scrubbing, nearly 70% of Americans are now 'anti-American,' and want us out of Iraq.

Bush and Cheney will not be going quietly into that good night because the stakes are too high. A Democratic White House and Congress in '09 will leave them vulnerable to war crimes, war profiteering charges and more. Those two criminals have swept a lot of corruption under the rug and they are counting on a McCain administration to give them a free pass and maybe name a few streets after them as well. Attacks from Bush and Cheney against Senator Obama and his family and his Vice Presidential pick etc. will be nasty, frequent, and the product of two contemptible felons who have used their positions of power to war monger, murder innocent people and steal billions in profit ...
If Bush and Cheney could bamboozle their way into office and avoid impeachment this long, how hard would it be for them to fake a Bin Laden tape or send a plane crashing into a building?

Very strange to call Democrats appeasers after he himself bragged so much about turning Moammar Kadafi, a well known terrorist leader, by jaw-bonning with him..

News flash Bush asked the Saudis to increase oil product, They said no..... Pretty sad the the President of the United States is begging not only once but twice for oil. To bad he didn't have a sound energy policy for the begining.

The Saudis whose country was home to the majority of the 9/11 attackers. And he begs them for oil but everyone else is an unpatriotic appeaser.
