For some reason, I thought of a story David Niven told in one of his books. Michael Curtiz, an Hungarian (who at a later date directed Casablanca), was very unpopular with everyone working on a movie Niven was in. One day Curtiz had a temper tantrum and yelled at everyone "You think I know f*** nothing but I want you to know that I know f*** all. " (or approximately that).

The analysis is sorta goofy or at least over-reaching. The aggression toward women in general might be part of BO's make up but how'd she get that from this particular scene? Sounds like he was flicking off a guy, not a waitress.

O'Reilly is clearly insane. All the hostility left over from his youth just comes spilling out. Instead of attempting to confront his anger problem, he has just ignored it over the years. He is a bully, and a misinformer, and little else.

It's pretty pathetic. If Olbermann spent half the time he spends on O'Reilly and actually tries to build some credibility, maybe more than the far left moonbats might actually respect him.

O'Reilly actually has more class because he doesn't dignify Olbermann attacks with a response. Keith's desperation for attention is showing.

When someone with O'Reilly's reach (or nightly audience) spews such divisive and hate-filled rhetoric it makes many of us recoil in extreme opposition to what he does to divide this country and foster bigotry. I concede that it usually makes for better TV to attack your perceived enemies than to shed light on the principals and policies that are your core belief. But all too often O’Reilly verbally assaults those from different political philosophies, races, lifestyles and cultures.

You may not see why anyone would obsess over the man. But many of us are grateful that at least someone persistently (perhaps too persistently according to some) ridicules such poisonous rants.
