This frame grab taken from a video message carrying the logo of al-Qaida's production house as-Sahab and provided by IntelCenter, a U.S. government contractor monitoring al-Qaida messaging, shows a graphic used on the May 16, 2008, al-Qaeda's as-Sahab Media release of a new video featuring an audio statement from Osama bin Laden to the people of the West about Israel's 60th anniversary. It is the third statement from bin Laden to be released in 2008. There are no English subtitles. CAIRO, Egypt — Osama bin Laden released a new message on Sunday accusing Arab leaders of sacrificing the Palestinians and calling on Muslim militants in Egypt to help break the blockade of Gaza.

Bin Laden called Arab leaders "agents of the crusaders" and "wolves" in the audio message posted on an Islamic militant Web site where al-Qaida leaders have issued past statements. He portrayed the citizens of Arab nations as herds of sheep who have been handed over to the wolves to look after them.

"Every day, the herd wishes the wolves would stop preying on it," he said.

"Those (Arab) kings and leaders sacrificed Palestine and Al-Aqsa to keep their crowns. ... But we will not be relieved of this responsibility," bin Laden said.

Al-Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem's Old City is one of the holiest sites for Muslims.

Al-Qaida leaders are increasingly using the Israeli-Arab conflict in their media campaign to rally supporters. Israel has warned of growing al-Qaida activity in Palestinian territories, although the terror network is not believed to have taken a strong role there so far.

The new audiotape comes just two days after bin Laden's last audio message was released, marking the 60th anniversary of Israel's foundation. He vowed to continue what he called his struggle against the Jewish state.

Israel and Egypt have closed their borders with Gaza since the Islamic militant group Hamas violently seized control of the Palestinian territory in June of last year.

The closure has deepened economic hardship in the impoverished strip where 1.4 million Palestinians live.

"Each one of us is responsible for the death of our vulnerable people in Gaza where scores have died because of the blockade," bin Laden said.

He urged Muslim militants in Egypt to try to end the closure.

"They are the only ones close to its borders and they must work on breaking this blockade," he said.

Of course he exists. He enjoys early dinners with sasquatch, while gazing over the lochness lake.

I see the pattern, Obamas is wining minds against the republicans so they go ahead and play the Terror card.... Ol' bin Laden. Well Olbermann explained this tactic rather well in this show.

You know I think its funny how stuff comes out like this when Bush needs to defend his stand on this war. I think there is alot more behind this then whats said..either Osama is in cahoots with our govt..or he isnt a real person...

funny how this rich ass leader is always in some kind of mountainous region looking starving and dirty and sh*t...

theres def. more to it..

the conclusion i draw from this comment is that OBL is lying peacefully...in Tora Bora...and since no one wants to admit he's "passed on"--the President and his miniions in the cIA [who always do his bidding] are REALLY REALLY SMART>>>>>

I don't even know whether to believe Bin Laden is alive still. There has been too much time, too much documentation of experts insisting he is dead. With all the technology at our government's hand I don't doubt for a minute that they would falsify information to scare us. The CIA is almost above reproach, like they can secretly get away with murder and we would never be the wiser. Bush and his cronies have lied to the American people time and time again, what's to say they aren't lying about this recording? Why isn't there a recent verifiable video of him, instead of audio. Surely if he were still alive and kicking, he'd be gloating about the fact that the US wasn't able to capture him.

Just makes one think twice (and thrice) about this administrations motives regarding EVERYTHING they do.

If Bin Laden didn't exist, it would become necessary to invent him.

I fully expect OBL to be "killed" around Oct. '08, just in time for the elections!

It's gonna be mighty difficult to thaw out a 6'2" man, though... Think the government has a microwave large enough?

I did not see the vedio, but the artivle quotes the following:
"Every day, the herd wishes the wolves would stop preying on it," he said. "Those (Arab) kings and leaders sacrificed Palestine and Al-Aqsa to keep their crowns. ... But we will not be relieved of this responsibility," bin Laden said.
Seems interesting that Bush stated years ago that he doesn't care about bin Laden , even making jokes about not finding him, as he looked under a desk.
Strange that Saudi Arabia, where most of the 911 highjackers are from, denied Buah's request for more oil at cheaper prices, just two days ago.
Strange all this talk about Al-Qaida this and al Quaida that.
Seems Bush's associates can't keep a deal. Or won't any longer.
No one trusts Bush. Why should they?

President Bush doesn’t pay any attention to OBL so the rest of us should ignore him too.

Edited and Extended version of OBL due to software upgrades and latest versions of animation programs.
No more grainy images. HD pictures with loud and clear "Bomb America" message.
I like this one better. Hes more handsome than the Michael-Jackson-type they show before. I was always expecting the beard to fall off that one at anytime.
Guess they must have tried very hard to make the turban and body parts stick for the duration of the video. But this one is nicer. Talks convicingly than the president.
Thumbs up to the creator. You should send this clip along with your CV to Lucas Films or to the Lord of the Rings creator.

Palestine is certainly getting the shaft, but at this point I don't believe in the existence of boogieman Bin Laden any more than I do Santa Claus.

If I were trying to catch this guy, I'd place some ultrasonic transmitters around where I thought he was hiding out, giving each transmitter its own morse-type code signal to broadcast. Humans wouldn't hear it, but if they're close enough, the sound would be recorded on of one of his audio or video recordings. Then, when he sends out another recording, all you have to do is decode the signal and you know which transmitter he's near.

And you think American with her rich technical advancement have not or cannot do that?

If you asked me? I think either OBL is dead and the government know it but do not want to inform the public or he is alive and know where he is and do not bother to pursue him further.

Keeping the status quote will enable the government puch her so call war on terror agenda. You can imagine that the force behind the war on terror campaign will be greatly deflated if OBL is known to have died.

By keeping him alive or keeping the myh that he is "aive"on, people will still have some fear that the very person who did us harm on 9/11 is still somewhere and they can cave-in to any of the government agenda towards the war on terror. The government can also use it for political points telling people that despite the fact that OBL is still "alive" the government have successfully prevented him frm attacking our home land.

Either way you look at it, as long as OBL is "alive" it is a win win for the government.

Why does the media report everything Bin Laden says? It seems to make him appear to be legitimate.

The media reports everything Bin Laden says because it's news. It's the JOB of media to keep us informed on the comings and goings in the world. It's not their job to pick and choose what's legitimate, although they seem to be doing that more and more all the time.

The media reports exactly what U.S. Officials tell it to.

This is news because apparently OBL can speak from the grave. Maybe he had a walkman with spare batteries buried with him.

BIn Laden is a legend in Bush's mind only. Not even the FBI think he was behind 9-11. Need proof? Go to the FBI's official page and see what he is wanted for.

http://www.fbi.gov/wanted/terrorists/terbinladen.htm

This is not a spoof site. This is the FBI. They don't believe he had anything to do with 9-11. Read it for yourself.

All lies. And we all swallow 'em hook, line and stinker.
