This frame grab taken from a video message carrying the logo of al-Qaida's production house as-Sahab and provided by IntelCenter, a U.S. government contractor monitoring al-Qaida messaging, shows a graphic used on the May 16, 2008, al-Qaeda's as-Sahab Media release of a new video featuring an audio statement from Osama bin Laden to the people of the West about Israel's 60th anniversary. It is the third statement from bin Laden to be released in 2008. There are no English subtitles. Friday's message comes as President Bush wraps up his visit to Israel to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Jewish state. (AP Photo/IntelCenter)

CAIRO, Egypt — Osama bin Laden released a new message on Sunday accusing Arab leaders of sacrificing the Palestinians and calling on Muslim militants in Egypt to help break the blockade of Gaza.

Bin Laden called Arab leaders "agents of the crusaders" and "wolves" in the audio message posted on an Islamic militant Web site where al-Qaida leaders have issued past statements. He portrayed the citizens of Arab nations as herds of sheep who have been handed over to the wolves to look after them.

"Every day, the herd wishes the wolves would stop preying on it," he said.

"Those (Arab) kings and leaders sacrificed Palestine and Al-Aqsa to keep their crowns. ... But we will not be relieved of this responsibility," bin Laden said.

Al-Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem's Old City is one of the holiest sites for Muslims.

Al-Qaida leaders are increasingly using the Israeli-Arab conflict in their media campaign to rally supporters. Israel has warned of growing al-Qaida activity in Palestinian territories, although the terror network is not believed to have taken a strong role there so far.

The new audiotape comes just two days after bin Laden's last audio message was released, marking the 60th anniversary of Israel's foundation. He vowed to continue what he called his struggle against the Jewish state.

Israel and Egypt have closed their borders with Gaza since the Islamic militant group Hamas violently seized control of the Palestinian territory in June of last year.

The closure has deepened economic hardship in the impoverished strip where 1.4 million Palestinians live.

"Each one of us is responsible for the death of our vulnerable people in Gaza where scores have died because of the blockade," bin Laden said.

He urged Muslim militants in Egypt to try to end the closure.

"They are the only ones close to its borders and they must work on breaking this blockade," he said.

"The media wing of al-Qaida says Osama bin Laden soon will issue a new message addressed to the Islamic world"

The "MEDIA WING of al-Qaida?" Oh please. There is no such thing...just like bin Laden is no more. Who benefits from these faux "revelations?" Really. These tactics are just being used - by both sides - to keep this insane "war" going.

I think they mistakenly said "media wing of Al-Qaida" they actually meant to say "The Pentagon", I guess the CIA is just waiting for Dubya to finish editing the video, he's such a perfectionist!

Ask yourself: Who benefits from Bin Laden's tapes? If you have the the answer to that question, you know, who is fabricating those Bin Laden-tapes.

The media wing of AQ, right. Geez, I'll bet they have an office in the Chrysler Building, too. Sitting around in their cubicles, reading Dilbert comics during chai break, busily working on "the message" and a media plan.

Every time I see his face or hear one his messages, it reminds me of W's deriliction of duty and his close ties to the Saud family. The so called justification for taking down SaddamHussein being that he was evil tyrrant who killed thousands of his own people. But the man who is responsible for killing thousands of Amercans is still free and poking his finger in our face. And his capture is not a priority for this administration.

You still think he is responsible for 9/11? You're really going to be pissed when you realize the Cheney administration's role in it.

It makes perfect sense to me that Bush has no desire to catch Bin Laden. Why would he want to put that feather in his cap and produce a major victory for his Presidential legacy? Yeah, right.

TELL ME WHY I have always felt that Osama bin Laden is better alive than dead. He was the bait and switch for Saddam Hussein. His father is an old billionaire business ally of the Bush family. His father gave George W. Bush the seed money for Arbusto (little Bush) in Houston, another business he bankrupted. The day after 11 September 2001- Continental Airlines in Houston was given special permission to remove all US-resident bin Ladens' and return them to Saudi Arabia.

Osama is a billionaire. He has a serious medical condition. Unlike most Arabs, he is 6"5" tall and travels with a retinue. When caught in Tora Bora, the American forces gave way to the Kurds. I truly believe that the man is protected for the obvious reasons.

That was before he died.

Now he's a body double, and/or a triumph of editing.

Remember the fat bin Laden? That was truly amazing.

Did you notice that in a recent McCain speech that was critical of Obama, McCain referred to how Reagan got our 50 plus hostages out of Iran in the 80's, after Jimmie Carter failed to do so?

It's true that Reagan did that. But he didn't do it by "being tough." HE DID IT BY SELLING ARMS TO THE ENEMY (IRAN). He sold us out so he could look like a big "hero." All the while he was telling the public, "WE REFUSE TO DEAL WITH TERRORISTS." I'm shocked that McCain had the gall to even bring it up.

Please tell me another bedtime story, "Johnnie!"

ONE SUSPECTS THE BUSH/CHENEY WAR CRIME FAMILY...

Of exchanging favors with bin Laden. They won't go after him in a serious way if he'll keep endorsing (sort of) the Democrats. Expect this to happen in this upcoming installment....

Soon? How soon? As soon as the WH decides what he is supposed to say? Maybe Rev. Hagee could write a nice speech for Bin Laden, like he did for Georgie at the Knesset. Why would Bin Laden send out a preview of his next message? This is ludicrous.

I enjoy Seth & Amy's Really? bit on SNL...this would be good fodder:
Bin Laden lives in a cave where he uses no technology (so as not to be traced) but he knows all about the election in America~REALLY?
We find out 72 hours before Bin Laden's messages are even released from his unknown cave position~REALLY?
Bin Laden, from his secret cave position is aware of how his scary messages affect our American elections~REALLY?
There is NO way that we (with all of our satellites and advanced technology) can follow Bin Laden's associates to the secret cave when they are picking up the scary messages~REALLY?
Bin Laden wasn't a CIA accessory and is still alive~REALLY?
Intelligent Americans are going to keep falling for these ridiculous scare tactics and vote accordingly~REALLY?

Ha. They DID invent him. Or at least their predecessors did. CIA-trained, remember. And I'm starting to think Bhutto was right when she suggested BL was dead...he ONLY pops up to deliver a 'message' when it serves neocon interests.

Also, we can reliably tell when he's going to post a message because we know all about this special website, but we don't have a damn clue whatsoever where he's hiding even with all our fancy gadgets? Huh.

"Media wing of al-Qaida." Hahaha stop it I can't breathe. That's a GOOD one. Who's their chief PR rep? Jeez.

I hope that the lesson we learnt the last 8 years is that folks should not just vote and go home to lament. We have an almost IMPERIAL PRESIDENCY who is not accountable to the people no matter what. That is why I have a special appeal to Barack Obama that citizens should hold their elected officials accountable, including making a barbecue out of them when they screw us up after being elected. GWB would not have had a chance with folks like me if we have the peoples power instead of this oligarchy that is masquerading as a democracy.

Please!

The democrats in congress and the Senate could have brought Bush to a screeching halt any time they chose. However, they have preferred to swap bullets for pork. Democrats have managed to distract their base into ranting and raving about King Bush while they are doing what politicians do best, making deals that benefit themselves and ensure they stay in power.

Yep, it's a democracy all right but you are getting what you pay for from all those democrats you sent to congress. Stop buying into conspiracies and put your foot in your congressman's ass. If you were just sitting around complaining on blogs for the last 8 years, then you deserve the government you got.

The Democrats have a TWO person majority in the Senate, reduced to ONE because Democratic Senator Tim Johnson had a stroke, and that ONE is Joe Lieberman, McCain's new squeeze. It takes 60 votes just to bring a bill to the floor of the Senate. That means the Republicans can freeze EVERY bill that doesn't meet with their approval, which THEY HAVE DONE. And what is the chief criterion of a bill that meets GOP standards? Why, that it does the bidding of GEORGE BUSH. Period, end of story hour.

Face it, RR666. The GOP has cast its lot with Bush and will pay dearly for it in November. It's simple engineering. When there is an obstruction in your path, remove it. The GOP obstructs progress, it shall be removed.

Please?

Do you know what filibuster means? Do you know anything about having to reach 60 votes? Do you know anything about presidential veto, and oh yea, Bush's signing whatever and doing what he damned well pleased? The only thing the Democratic majority could have done was to impeach. There are many of us who have been screaming about that for years.

You will still have to say sayonara to your friends in Congress and the Senate. The American people prefer the rule of law. They are sick of the greed. They have had it with the lies. They know the war was about oil. They want to take care of our veterans. And they want to pull the country out of the toilet where you Republicans have flushed it.

Please, my ass!

Yawn... we're not listening anymore. Let him say what he wants. Let me see, he hates Israel, he hates America, glorious jihad - yadda, yadda, yadda. Is this the country we have become that we listen to every word of this spoilt crazy Saudi and react fearfully? Perhaps if we had had a true statesman in the White House this would not be an issue. Instead we had bin Bush for the last 8 years.
