She's Pregnant? Nicole Kidman Shows Off Tiny Bump At CMAs

Nicole Kidman accompanied husband Keith Urban to the 43rd Annual Academy of Country Music Awards on Sunday night in Las Vegas. The glowing actress, well into her third trimester, did her best to show off her bump on the red carpet, even cupping her hands underneath so photographers could get their best shot. But no doubt to the consternation of women everywhere, the photos show she's barely showing.

Ditto. Two tremendous talents. My 86 year old Mother has been to 7 (!) Keith Urban Concerts in the last 12 months..She just loves him. The guy's music has kept her going fit and strong. All her grandkids pitched in for her KU hat that she always wears now. She had never been to a rock or country music concert before. At the first concert she went to, she wanted to know how you can get tickets up front in the first or second row right in front of the stage. My sister said, "Ma, you have to be dating a DJ in a major FM market to get tickets up there." She is still trying to figure out how to get up front. She wants some kind of booking autobot software for ticketmaster. Because of Keith Urban she has learned how to get on the Internet and get on all the fan sites for the latest info, concert reviews, and play list reports. Our family just loves the guy for what he has done to keep our beloved Mother going. God bless them both. They deserve joy and happiness because they have brought that to so many people with their great artistry and talent. Bless their child coming into this world.

On second thought (and God knows why I'm giving it a second thought, let's just call it escapism, my way of dealing with Huckabee's latest traitorous and anti-democratic process statements), the bump is the accessory of the moment, and it's all about accessories. Chiauaus are so yesterday. Oh, maybe the bump can be paraded along the avenues in cute little carriers hung around the celeb's neck or shoulder. Of course for every socially conscious celeb the label should read "Made in the USA".

The bump is the new black. How long before we see one of these "celebs" on the red carpet wearing a floor length gown with a cut-out for the bump? They can pose in front of the cameras with their hands rubbing the bump. Now, there's a fresh take on the photo-op. For the more demure preg celeb, the cleavage could be stressed and the bump might be modestly highlighted by a dainty belt that wraps tightly above and below the bump. Kind of a Rennaissance look. Very sweet and romantic. Actually, five years ago (if not more), I predicted the rump would be the new black. You know, very low back cleavage. As Donald Rumsfeld said, "Who knew"?

Kidman is very tall. More room for the baby to spread out. As a tall woman who had two almost 10 lb babies, I think she looks very normal. At 7 1/2 months, I looked about 4 months pregnant with both of my children. I gained the amount of weight my doctor told me to gain (25-30) and lost it within 2 weeks following both births. Kidman, while she is EXTREMELY thin, does look like a tall woman in her third trimester.

Honestly, I feel sorry for her. If she's in her third trimester, she should be bigger than that. Hopefully, the baby is doing just fine.

oh, god - she has trout-mouth - pumped up lips. that, and nary a wrinkle, aren't making nicole look very real. she was such a pretty girl when she first began making pictures. i wish her well, but all the additives to her face aren't very attractive.

Katie, the current Mrs. Cruise, was as big as a house when expecting Suri, and she is tall too. So height, while it helps, isn't as good as genetics and good breeding when carrying. Now Katie looks like a deflated balloon, and she is so much younger than Nicole. Nicole you rock, you shine, you just glow. You deserve your happiness,and I am so happy for you, after the hell Tom put you through!

No, she had to suspend the injections for the pregnancy. It must have been quite a hard habit to kick because I read somewhere she's the most Botoxed actress there is around. God only know why they do it - the face starts having this very weird papier mache, permanently startled, doll-like expression...
