Patti Solis Doyle, Former Clinton Campaign Manager, Considering Job With Obama Camp

Hillary Clinton's former campaign manager and confidante, Patti Solis Doyle, and Senator Barack Obama's top advisor have informally discussed the former Clintonite's going to work for the Obama campaign in the general election.

Solis Doyle's possible hiring is a major breach not just in Clinton's campaign but in the political universe known as "Hillaryland," a term Solis Doyle reportedly coined after joining the Clintons in 1991 as Mrs. Clinton's personal scheduler. She was forced out of Senator Clinton's campaign in February amid internal criticism about her spending practices and preparation for upcoming contests.

Patti wants to join the wining team and learn a thing or two about the best organized campaign ever and perhaps pad her resume saying she had something to do with Obama wining the presidency. Right now her reputation is in shambles after being named responsible for Hillary's defeat.
Having said that, Obama could use her for her latino connections and to rally the women who are still stuck on Hillary. She would need lots of supervision though, because she is an incompetent manager.

Astute father always said: "Who told you to do that?" A series of questions would follow that regarding the person who gave the advice, and what their modes operandi was. Ultimately after discerning whether it was friend or foe who offered the advice, he would suggest if a 'true' friend gave it, 'think about that'... if a foe gave it he would say 'go the other way'.

The value in Doyle is the defection itself. She has little value to offer as an operative ala Clinton style politics. However, it makes a great story that one of the former top honchos is admitting Hillary is over and it is time to get behind the winner.

I dont get this Why would any employer wants to hire someone who has been part and in fact head of a failed institution in to a team of all WINNERs and it migh possibly be replacing a WINNER by a loser. It has to be noted that Hillary's failed bide for the nomination is largely due to mismanagement of which she was the head manager. To make it even worse,she was unable to admit or recognise that Hillary was going down and the Clinton campaign was suffering from mismanagement along side other factors,this even when it was all so evident to everyone. As i know it,everyone is prone to aking mistakes but to be able to learn from ones mistake and consequently rectifying ones mistakes,those mistakes have to first of all be recognise,which she couldnt recognise them. The Obama team runs the risk of bring her in while she still holds the same management views and ideologies which will mena mismanageging this GE campaign.

I just dont trust any Clinton loyal,they are all blind loyalist.They could be out with an agenda,drag this campaign down to give her another chance for 2012,which we all know that has always been the Clintons plan B

Depends whether she's there to be a drag or to contribute. I believe she must have some value if she's been around for 17 years. I also believe it's Penn who got her kicked. Not sure I want anyone who worked on Clinton's campaign working on his GE campaign!!! They may have strong loyalty to the shrew and try to purposely allow things to happen... thus handing the presidency over to McLame and allowing that nast closet Republican Hillary to run again in 2012...
