I understand her desire to change sexes but she is NOT a pregnant man, she is a pregnant woman. WHY the press insists on saying she is a pregnant man is beyond belief.

While I wish her well in transforming herself into the person she wants to be which is an actual male, she will never really be one, just in mind which is fine. I have always felt badly for transgendered people because life must be so difficult for them.

BUT this is not a pregnant man. It is a pregnant woman. I sure hope all the hormone therapy and drug she is taking don't affect the baby. (I am sorry for trangendered supporters, but as long as she is pregnant she won't be a man)

I think Thomas Beatie is Hot!! I love that this s the world we live in where people are free to do with their bodies as they please and live how they want to live. She was a gorgeous woman but now is a hot man. Good for her and her family.

Just like the woman in the picture is wacking the weeds, and you notice I said "woman" because genetically he-she is still female, you need to wack this story into the archives. I have no issue with his trans gender status, but I agree with Peddler. It's not like some medical miracle that person with male repro organs got pregnant. This story needs to go away - a)because the reporting is overly sensational and b) it's time to leave these people alone.

Agreed, it is a woman who had her breasts removed and took testosterone shots, and that is fine, nobody cares. But it is still a woman, not some medical miracle. It looks a bit odd, but that is all.

It does look very odd! You like what you like and all I'm all for doing whatever you want to your body but I can't help but to think "WHAT THE HELL?!!" every time I see a picture.
