Battle! Denise Richards Claims Charlie Sheen Faked Sperm Request (Video)

Denise Richards insisted Wednesday she never asked for her ex-husband Charlie Sheen's sperm, despite a document released exclusively to NBC News by Sheen containing a purported e-mail that Sheen claims proves she asked him in April 2007 to father a third child via artificial insemination.

"The e-mail's not legitimate. It's a doctored e-mail," Richards told TODAY's Matt Lauer Wednesday. She said that the message, which Sheen says Richards wrote to his current fiancee, Brooke Mueller, represents another attempt by the actor to discredit her.

The he-said, she-said about the alleged sperm request has been tabloid fodder, but until Wednesday, no one had seen the e-mail that spawned it....

Sheen released a statement through Rosenfield that essentially called Richards a liar.

I don't know if anyone has noticed, but the only people that get reality shows, are people who's carreers have dried up. I saw this interview before I left for work the other day, and this woman sounded like the biggest joke - ever.
She married Charlie Sheen for God's sake. The guy lived for partying with hookers while flying high on cocaine. Did she honestly believe that they were going to grow old together? Give me a break.
She knows that her carreer is over, and this her last desperate attempt to keep herself in the public eye.

It's weird to see so many anti-Denise Richards comments.

Charlie Sheen might be a good actor and funny, but it's long been public knowledge he's not a good person. But, he does convince people he's changed, and Denise's only misstep is that she fell for that and married him. And then she got out as soon as she could.

I'm in Sheen's corner on this. He's no saint, but he's not pimping his kids on a reality show to prop up his career. Anybody who'd put their young kids on a reality show does not score high on my good-parent meter. Ucchhh! Denise was crazy for marrying Charlie Sheen in the 1st place. She is going around saying that when they met he was a changed man. Oh please. He was nice to her for awhile b/c he thought she was hot. Sheen's a sleezebag. After the first kid was born, he was ready to move on to the next hot thing.
