Below is a video that was recorded on February 21, 2008 at the Raffles City Tower in Shanghai. At around midnight, two men enter the elevator. Watch closely...

So - real or fake? And if it's fake - who did it? How'd they do it? And why? Here's

Uuhh, everyone might want to just click on the link below the video that says "the answer". It reveals this to be a hoax - a promotion.

This is so simple that it almost doesn't need an explanation. It is a trick that you can see on any given day on TV commercials. A fixed camera (such as the one inside the elevator) is used to show an action and then is stopped deliberately in order for actors to move off the stage. Then a minute later when the filming is resumed, it seems as if any new activity suddenly appears as if by magic.
The trick is so old it has whiskers. It was also a staple of old movie cameras.

Watch inside the elevator at 35 and 46 seconds in and you will see something white (like a reflection) appear just at the left hand rail for a brief moment.

This is a fake video because:

1. The supposed "ghost" looks and acts exactly the way Asian ghosts have been portrayed in recent Asian cinema ("Ring", "The Grudge", "Dark Water").

2. Light and shadow reflect off of the "ghost" from inside and outside the elevator. If this was a true ethereal figure, light nor shadow would reflect off of it.

I do believe in ghosts, but this does not appear at all like the real thing, only because the possibility of a hoax is more likely given the evidence presented.

I am a paranormal freak who views alot of these videos, and not one has impressed me. This one included. This can easily be explained as a camera trick or double exposure; or even more simply, video editing. Not to mention is has the common cliché of the "zombie" ghost.

This is definately fake.
