Mix one part excitable pup with five parts cute baby chicks and voila! Cute animal video #1!

This seagull sneaks into the same convenience store week after week and steals the same kind of chips every time. He even does a quick look-around before each nabbing to make sure the coast is clear. Love how the reporter confronts the winged crook at the end.

Tiny kitten: cute. Tiny kitten making tiny kitten meows: super cute.

This sleepy bear cub rose to fame quickly after CNN profiled him and Stephen Colbert named him the number one threat to America (go to 5:35 in this video). Let's hope it doesn't go to his cute little bear cub's head.

Finally this week, a hedgehog with the munchies. Doesn't get much cuter than this.

I laughed out loud when I saw that the seagull video is from Aberdeen... I have lived there can say that the seagulls are INSANE (and absolutely gigantic)! I once had a sandwich stolen off of my lap while eating in a park when I quickly glanced the other way!

IF I SEE THIS VIDEO WITH THE TITLE "CUTE LITTLE BEAR CUB" I WILL SCREAM. WATCH THE VIDEO CAREFULLY. THIS POOR LITTLE CUB IN NOT IN ITS NATURAL HABITAT AND INSTEAD IN DEPLORABLE SURROUNDINGS.

I first spotted this video on the CNN website and it sounds like it was taken by tourists. Within a few minutes of research I find that the cub is an endangered Asiatic Bear located in Thailand. Didn't take much time the info was located in the url.
I sent off an e-mail with the information to a supposedly staffed 27/7 CNN site and I get no answer.

Later on Anderson Cooper 360 who just did a special with Jeff Corwin on CITES, the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora of which the Asiatic Bear is listed, watches the video with Erica Hill.
He's saying how cute and adorable the little bear is and as much as they searched could not find any information about it. What a moron.

By the way the cute little bear is slaughtered for it paws and other parts to make Chinese medicine. The not so cute thing is when this cub grows up it is even more aggressive then our black/brown bear so it's usually caged for the rest of it's life.

The Animal Asia Foundation calls them the Chinese Moon Bear because of the crescent shaped white fur underneath their necks.

I saw the special on CNN that you've mentioned re: the Chinese medicine and animal parts. It was extremely disturbing and very sad.

How sad that this is likely exactly what is going to happen to this cub once he's closer to maturity and body and his paws will be larger = more 'material' to be used for the 'medicine = more $ for the barbarians who raise the cubs for this purpose and the barbarians who slaughter them.
