Bloomberg:

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said women won't suffer a "step back" if Democrat Hillary Clinton loses her presidential bid, and rejected the idea of sexism in the presidential campaign.

Clinton, 60, a New York senator, is "bigger than all of it"' and has shown "courage," Pelosi, a California Democrat, said in an interview with Judy Woodruff broadcast on the PBS NewsHour last night.

The title of this article is misleading.

Yes indeed. Folks, you got it right on the second page, but on the politics page you have the headline backwards. PLEASE PLEASE fix it lest those who can't read the news beyond headlines try to use Pelosi as ammunition for something she didn't say.

There are plenty of strong, intelligent women in this country that will be able to run for President in the future. I would LOVE to see a woman in the White House when she is the best candidate, but Sen Clinton is NOT the best candidate and NOT the right woman to run this country

Well, approximately 49% of the Dems in this country feel the opposite of the way you feel. We know that she is the most qualified to be President. Even some new found friends of mine, (both lifelong republicans, mind you), say this and voted for her in the primary. They have both said, however, that there is no way they would vote for the "empty suit" that is Obama. This country is in too bad a shape to hand over to someone who doesn't even know where all the bathrooms in the White House are located.

Lying with statistics. The vast majority of Dems who voted for other candidates in the primaries and caucuses WILL vote for the Dem candidate in November. A small subset will not.

Approximately 49% of the Dems want a woman in the White House, or at least their own kind. Qualifications play a miniscule part in their choice compared to the Clinton name. If more people knew the facts of the Clinton Administration and Clinton legislation and Clinton years, not just the things the corporate owned MSM wants you to know, their support would waiver.

Bill Clinton spoke more truth than we realize when he said "There is very little difference between Hillary and John McCain."
