236.com:

With this week's release of the sure-to-be blockbuster, "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull," 66-year-old Harrison Ford reprises his iconic title character role almost two full decades after the franchise's previous installment. Audiences are excited to see Indy on the big screen again, but are a little worried that a senior citizen action hero might make "Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" play more like "Temple of the Swollen Prostate."

Wondering exactly how Indy is still able to save the world's treasures from stock bad guy characters while wearing orthopedic shoes? Just type your question into the live chat window below, and enjoy an immediate response from the aging adventurer.

I saw the film last night and it was a stinker! It was silly and sometmes a little confusing. It just didn't have the zest and power of even the second Indiana Jones film which was pretty bad too. The color was awful too, nothing like the wonderful color of the first 3 films. Really a bad film.

Hollywood thinks digging up old franchises and continuing them is an instant goldmine. Or re-making them with the latest computer effects and hyping up the trademarked characters.

Doesn't Hollywood remember the days when taking a risk by MAKING franchises yielded better results?

It seems digging up rotting corpses of dead venues and re-animating them is giving them some money, but there certainly is no risk. Nor content, which is far more important. Never mind creativity...

At least "Casino Royale" (2006) showed that a franchise COULD be revived, properly, for modern audiences. Still, for every rule there is the exception... :)
