Washington Post:

Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton's campaign accused Sen. Barack Obama's campaign of fanning a controversy over her describing the assassination of Robert F. Kennedy late in the 1968 Democratic primary as one reason she is continuing to run for the presidency.

"The Obama campaign ... tried to take these words out of context," Clinton campaign chairman Terence R. McAuliffe said on "Fox News Sunday." "She was making a point merely about the time line."

The issue is particularly sensitive given longstanding concerns about Obama's safety as a presidential candidate. (He first received Secret Service protection last May.) The Obama campaign called Clinton's words unfortunate and circulated a TV commentary criticizing them, although Obama himself said Saturday that he took Clinton at her word that she meant no harm.

The entire campaign has become completely tone-deaf.

The only input they get is from Hillary is 44

This is why anyone who is upset and angry by this candidate's effort to incite violence against her opponnent should contact the media and share their outrage. I can not believe she is trying this spin.

How would the Americans or any other Nation ever trust her as the President? She lies, blames others, and never accepts responsibility, never apologizes - she out-Bushes Bush. She is like Bush on steroids.

Well, if she was just making a point about the timeline as "Mr" Mcauliffe contends. why had she brought this up twice before. And for the people that claim she had nothing to gain politically, well..how about the unspoken fear induced into the heads of the uncommited superdelegates that Obama may be asasinated like Bobby was. (Just a reminder).
She is a callous person. Just like the comment "we aren't going to bail out every undercapitalized small business out there" when she was first lady or her comment to the delegate that switched to Obama"too bad for you because I'm going to win".She is a nasty person even if she's a mom like me.

What she said was the MSM and Obama's campaign inflated its significance. Just look at how many stories were posted here on HuffPost.
