Rove On This Week

There has been increasing controversy over Fox News' refusal to identify Karl Rove, who is a political analyst for Fox, as an informal adviser to John McCain's campaign. Well, today Rove appeared on This Week with George Stephanopoulus, and Stephanopoulus did what Fox has so far refused to do: he identified Rove as an "informal adviser" McCain. Rove denied it, and when Stephanopoulus said that he passes information onto the campaign and gives them advice, Rove called it just "chit-chat."

In George Stevenson (Stephanopoulos) have seen an independent thinker turn to mush. From the disgusting debate moderation to this -- he has sold out.

From another fellow Greek-American . . .

Kalamatia, I agree with you. My grandpa came from the old country and I always watched George. After his horrible behavior at the debate, I no longer watch him. I know my grandpa rolled over in his grave to see a Greek American behave in such an undemocratic way. Everybody knows where democracy started but I guess George forgot. Because I do not watch him anymore, I did not see his interview of Rove.

I don't know how Rove became so powerful. I saw the interview and thought his answers were really weak.

But that's just it. He provides no front to attack. He just changes shape and squirms away into hiding where he can come up with the schemes that have brought a Republic to the brink of failure. He's a coward, but he doesn't care, and neither do his masters.

Alexrod kick George a$$, when he said that George use to work for the Clintons, and kept saying that Bill Clintons in 1992 used to be just like Obama, and that he went on to win.

Rove was coached by his attorney. Notice how he doesn't answer the question with a simple yes of admission or no of denial. He looked surprised when George told him the cell phone records corroborate her story, not his. George should have pressed him on the cell phone records and asked him to relay what was said. And he should have pressed him to clarify what deal he wants before he answers questions. Then again, he probably wants him to return for another interview.

Money trumps truth everytime when it comes to the media.

The karlbuncles's pathetic little world is grumbling down around him. Fox's fixed and biased news looks like his only hope, there he can coexist with the rest of rupert's roids...............

There can be no refuge for traitors and war criminals in our America.

A strong new Fairness Doctrine, headed by Olbermann or Maddow,

able to regularly show up for equal time to dispute the propaganda

and blatant lies, will restore truth in OUR airwaves, This should be

a Cabinet position, well staffed, to cover all access to all Americans.

The right wing fascists must be checked at every public venue and

The Grand Lizard, Rupert Murdoch must sell off his illegal share of

the MSM. Freedom and truth must not fall to fascist propaganda!!!!

ST2P.

Unfortunately, unless America undergoes another revolution, I can't see any of this happening. The level of money and corruption that flows through public and political life in America is truly astounding and is the kind of corruption you see throughout the developing world.

We, as Americans, have to demand that this happen. The airwaves are public property, and they have been hijacked by sociopathic propagandists.

In fact Karl Rove is the 30% factor in the fall of the current False Republican leadership at every level of American government. Folks just don't trust obvious liars like Karl Rove, lies by design and Bush/Cheney lies of arrogance and pure evil.

Many voters have a built-in bullshit filter and when it gets obviously deep they tend to reject. No voting machine jiggling can fix the crushing defeat in store for the House of Bush candidate, John McCain and the entire Fake Republican Party this fall.

You read it here, first.

Shame on you George. I saw your interview this morning with Axelrod. You were your usual despicable self, blaming Axelrod for Clinton's remarks. As a Greek-American I'm embarrassed for you. Shame on you Georgie.

Black Americans, and many of all races are EXTREMELY disturbed by Hillary's insinuation of a possible assassination of Barack Obama. To imply that her reason for staying in the race is because anything can happen, then nonchalantly say that even Robert Kennedy was assassinated in June, meaning therefore she should stay in, is not only pitifully diobolical but incredibly dangerous.
As I read some of the comments, I sense that some do not understand the true impact of her deadly insinuation. Keep in mind, when it was first announced that Obama was running for President, the initial concern in Black America was his safety. "Would some nut sniper him"? Obama had to hire secret service security right out of the gate.....why? Because of the true possibilty of some nut doing harm to him or his family.
Also, during the last 50 years, the people who have been assassinated have ALL been leaders who were working toward equality for ALL. John F., Robert and of course Dr. King. So just the WORD assassination brings to us not only an extreme fear but is a reminder of the incredibly sad loss to America, particularly Blacks, at the hands of the sick and wicked. For Hillary Clinton, a so-called leader, to insinuate, for WHATEVER reason assassination....is beyond disgusting. It subliminally sparks the hatred, bigotry and destruction that most Americans have worked so hard to overcome.
