Senator Barack Obama's foreign policy credentials took a further blow on Tuesday after his candidacy for the Democratic presidential nomination won the backing of Fidel Castro.

Please thats not a low blow, Presidents didnt want to talk to Castro they wanted to Bully him....So now Obama want to talk man to man and he respects that. Why are we in the mindset to Bomb first and talk second. Please if you look at this as a major blow, please. I dont know who you support, but if you support Clinton you need to concentrate on her comments about assassination and well if your a McCain supporter then you need to worry about alot like is secret fundrasier with bush and so many more.....

McCain's comments are blatherings of an addlepated politician, who's more intolerant and obdurate than Bush.

McCain's years in Washington have not produced an erudite politician of sound judgement capable of change. Instead it's apparent MSM's portrayal of McCain as a "straight talking maverick," strong on national security and foreign policy is a myth of catastrophic proportions.

In his major national security speech, McCain said he wants "INTERNATIONAL NUCLEAR STORAGE. "
...It's possible Russia might build a storage facility for countries in East Asia, but McCain's suggesting some other country's going to accept our stock of spent fuel and this would avoid opening the spent fuel repository in Yucca Mountain, Nevada. Who does McCain think is going to take our nuclear waste? Even if taken off our hands, the stuff contains 100,000+ weapons worth of plutonium. McCain wants to export that to a country poor enough to want into the nuclear waste storage business.

THIS IS THE DUMBEST THING ANY AMERICAN POLITICIAN HAS EVER UTTERED ABOUT NUCLEAR WASTE STORAGE. TALK ABOUT NAIVETY AND POOR JUDGEMENT!

One wonders how McCain would safely ship nuclear material to these countries in light of the failure of Bush/Cheney/McCain and the republicans to secure our foreign controlled ports and shipping companies, increasing levels of sea piracy and the inability of poor countries to guarantee long term security of these materials?

EVERYTIME McCAIN MAKES A MAJOR SPEECH IT'S MINDLESS BLATHER.

Not sure what planet you are from but Fidel Castro released a statement AGAINST Obama....But I even if Fidel did support Obama, what are you trying to imply?

I think the your lack of awareness of the failed US policy with respect to Cuba is obvious.

Oh, did I mention the FACT that RAUL is now running Cuba????

Stop with the silly fear comments

Oh, Iboucher, where were you when we all saw Fidel Castro's original statement?

I honestly hope you people come on here just to f*ck with people, because if you're really that dense, your parents need to get you some help. No, seriously, I'm not kidding.

And? I NEVER understood the embargo against Cuba. Who is it hurting? The everyday Cubans. In the meantime we are dealing everyday with the most noxious, evil, human-rights-violating, free-speech-squashing Communist regime ever. That's right, China. I WELCOME any Presidential candidate that would have the cojones to open up this dialogue. We're not living in the 1960's anymore and the red threat no longer exists.

The Republican hierarchy is on the brink of nominating John McCain to his highest level of incompetence! This is the Peter Principle at work. The Republican brand is so stinking filthy that they had to find the most rebelious manager within their ranks in the hope that he can stir them up. Too bad, sooner or later, the American public will clearly see that the guy is incompetent.

McCain's campaign staff is obviously as ignorant and sloppy as he is.
Sounds like a winning combination to me :-)

The way McCain's campaign has been run reminds one of the way another experienced politician (Hillary Clinton) has mismanaged her campaign.

What's McCain's excuse?

McCain's excuse is he has post-traumatic stress disorder from his years as a prisoner of war.

One word to describe that ad - Lies.

He wants to kick start the economy as if it is that easy. To really kick start the economy one needs to end the war that is sucking 12 billion dollars a month. To kick start the economy one needs to stop beating around the bush and change the current laws in place.

He wants to make health care portable and affordable. As for the portable part, i have no idea what the hell he is talking about. It almost sounds like the latest buzz word. Similar to idiot mid mangers throwing around the phrase Agile methodology and Scrum without know what the hell it is. For more information on this read Scott Adams "Dilbert Gives you the Business". As for affordable, how the hell is this old geezer going to make it affordable? He has proposed nothing. He will continue the same Bush strategy of "do nothing" for the middle class or the poor. The rich, do not need cheaper health insurance so why bother with the rest of the people. John McCain like Bush will expect the poor to not fall sick. If you are poor and don't make 150K or more then you do not deserve medical care or help. If you are poor you are expected to roll over and die in silence. This is the Bush way. This is McCain's way. What a loathsome toad John McCain is.

I loved about the ad! It is as if McSame went down the list of all the Republican failures of the last 8 years and itemized them -- just to remind us. "Corporate Accountability" was particularly rich...ah, yes, there's Bush's largest campaign contributor Enron. And lest we forget: Worldcom, Tyco and Adelphia. Maybe Arthur Andersen can help Diebold tally the "votes".

Wonder why he left out his miracle solutions for FEMA and Katrina?

Or Iraq?

POrtable health coverage means you can be assured that when you move from one job to another, you can't be denied health coverage at the new job. Also, you can't be restricted because of pre-existing conditions. If you were covered for something in your previous job's health plan, the new one has to cover you for it, as well.

Not that I believe McCain has any intention of promoting and establishing a health care program that's fair to everybody, especially the poor.

American dollar would gain value if the borrowing stopped and then imports...namely fuel will begin to lower in prices.

This is a stupid commericial. Its like he just threw a lot of terms out there without saying what they means. The folks in rural America are NOT the only one that will go what the hell does portable health care mean that we all walk around with our medical bag LOL. Or maybe we have our own doctor following us around.

I would say that he needs to bring it down to understandable terms but since there is no meat to put on the bones I wont bother.

I think it was done for a reason.

That video had over 17,753 hits on You Tube when I checked.

Think of the ad budget they saved.

At this point it looks like "Mc'OLD" may be more of an outright "Idiot" than Bush...

Reagan had Alzheimer's while in office and perhaps "Mc'OLD" does too....
