"Goodnight Bush: A Parody" Hits Bookstores
The classic children's tale "Goodnight Moon" lovingly details the bedtime ritual of a bunny who goes about saying goodnight to various objects in his bedroom. In a newly published "unauthorized parody" of the book, two authors, Erich Origen and Gan Golan, have decided to re-imagine the tale by focusing on every Democrat's favorite source of unintentional humor, George Bush.
According to the book jacket, "Goodnight Bush," published today, chronicles "a child-like George W. Bush tucked safely away in the confines of his own room with all the toys he's willfully destroyed, abused, or defaced. Complete with 'a quiet Dick Cheney whispering hush,' this bedtime story lets us laugh at -- and finally say goodnight to--the disaster of the last eight years."
Will it be a hit with Democrats? Disaffected Republicans? Well, it's already landed near the top oif the charts for humor books on Amazon, so it seems somebody can't resist.
