In a letter supported by a set of polls and charts -- including Karl Rove's maps -- Clinton makes her case.

The core of it: That is why I continue in this race: because I believe I am best prepared to lead this country as President -- and best prepared to put together a broad coalition of voters to break the lock Republicans have had on the electoral map and beat Senator McCain in November.

Here is why I will never vote for Hillary Clinton:
-Proven liar. Take Bosnia. If she said it once it's a misstatement. BUT she said it many times and defended it when Sinbad, who was there, said that she was incorrect in her recollection. That's when it's a lie. She didn't correct herself until there was video evidence.
-Not gracious. Did she ever give Obama acknowledgement for his victories without holding her nose? Did she ever lose a primary or a caucus state without providing an excuse versus acknowledging that Obama won?
-No integrity. She signed a pledge acknowledging that MI and FL votes wouldn't count, however when it suits her, it is a voters rights issue. Where I come from, if you sign an agreement and break it, you can be sued.
-She doesn't believe in planning, or contingency planning. Her campaign is full of Democratic insiders that created the rules, however she didn't plan for a long race, and when it became apparent, the rules should change. Sounds like GW Bush and the Iraq war.
-She doesn't admit when she is wrong. Even though there is much data about her support for the Iraq war and her support for NAFTA, she refuses to admit that she is wrong. Again, GW Bush.

Seems to me McCain would be another GW because of agreement on failed policies, but Clinton would be another GW because of style of leadership. Neither of them appeal to me.

Thank Goodness you lost Hillary.

I am not sure I could take 8 years of Hillary on the TV everyday, whinnying and lying about something or other.

What a disgraceful campaign you and your gang of advisers have run, if anyone still thinks she has a chance of winning the nomination, I have a wonderful old bridge I can sell you back in Brooklyn.

What is going on with the endgame date? First it was to be June 3. Then I heard this morning ona tv interview of a political analyst that it would be June 15. Then a poster said Pelosi says it will be the end of June.
Inch by inch, Hillary edges forward...

Does Hillary really think the Super Delegates should listen to who Karl Rove wants as the Democratic Nominee? Is she serious?

I don't see how any talking points illustrated with Karl Rove research and "facts" can be taken seriously by the DNC. Pointing to states that were won in the primaries is not a valid argument because as time has passed we have had more opportunity to evaluate the candidates and other candidates have dropped out.
Polls are skewed, people are not always truthful and people change their minds. All of the polls taken thus far have not taken into account the effect that Bob Barr's candidacy will have on the Republican side.
Discounting the caucus states and manipulating the votes in MI and FL to her advantage does not mean that Hillary actually won the popular vote.

I wish that Hillary had the strength to accept her loss and had channeled her energy into working on issues like voter fraud investigation and any of the important issues that we face as a country. Her inability to accept what has happened and her appeal to the super delegates is just another reason not to vote for her ever again.

I want a president who has a life outside politics. Obama has his familiy, faith, basketball and his brilliant writing career. He is a balanced human being. Hillary has a sham marriage. Bill started cheating on her long ago, back in Arkansas. It's one of those marriages of ambition - your turn, my turn. Hillary does have Chelsea. Unfortunately, if I were her mother, I wouldn't let Chelsea anywhere near the world of politics.

Did Hillary include this in her report:

I couldn't be bothered with reading the National Intelligence report BEFORE voting for the Iraq War. So, look at this chart of what happened as a result of me voting yes for Bush's war without thinking.

The Human Cost of Occupation

American Deaths Since war began (3/19/03): 4084
Since "Mission Accomplished" (5/1/03) ) 3945
Since Capture of Saddam (12/13/03): 3623
Since Handover (6/29/04): 3225 Since Election (1/31/05): 2647
American Wounded Official 30329
Daily DoD Casualty Release
320,000 Vets Have Brain Injuries

As a feminist, I appreciate the need to have a woman as President as much as any of you.

However, the fanatical ambitions of feminism in this campaign are going to ensure the election of a Republican in November, by hamstringing the Democratic Party, and crippling the path to a democratic victory.

This planet and its fragile ecosystem cannot take another four years of Republican stewardship of our environment and our planet.

So I have to take a stand. Am I a feminist first or an environmentalist first?

When the fate of our Planet stands in the balance, and stands in the crosshairs of fanaticism,
I stand for the Planet.

I am sorry, Hillary. Ambition is not enough. It's time to unite behind the Frontrunner.

eurydice:
You might be interested in an article from Politco, here is how it begins:

"Like Hillary Rodham Clinton, the three other women most frequently mentioned as possible running mates for Barack Obama are widely recognized as shrewd, trailblazing politicians who would provide critical ballast to an Obama-led presidential ticket.

"But according to interviews with Republicans in their home states, Kansas Gov. Kathleen Sebelius, Arizona Gov. Janet Napolitano and Missouri Sen. Claire McCaskill differ from Clinton by two important measures: They"ve managed to win elections without developing polarizing personas, and they"ve shied away from emphasizing gender in their campaigns."

I know of and respect all three of these women, and would welcome them on any ticket for the White House, either as President or as VP.

Considering Rove has been the republican politcal strategy guy, why woudl Hilary use his information to show her electabilty? Personally I thin Rove says this so that we as Dems get her as our Candidate and she is easliy defeated. After all woudln't Rove want a republican to win? Hilary should be smarter then this, but apparently not. Red flags are all over the place on this one but she seems to not be aware of any of it.

That photo caption of a sneering Hillary with Mt. Rushmore in the backgroud is nauseating. The sight of Hillary Rodham Clinton in close proximity to those iconic figures shows how far we've fallen and how low we can go. Wake up America.

I hadn't looked at it before, I hate looking at her so much. But now that I have, I, too, feel sick. She is POSING with our former presidents. I am not much for looking high and low for the subliminal message in photos (or speeches), or even looking at all---but if I had to guess and this photo had one, the message would be this: that Hillary becoming our next President is...yes... carved in stone.

Oh dear god, when will this woman get it. Karl Rove and the entire right wing sound machine WANTS HER TO WIN so the can tear her up in the general election? Apparently they have stuff on her just waiting to be used. But thankfully this will all be over by this time next week. She'll do her thing in front of the Rules Committee and the super delegates will come to their senses and put her out f her misery.

She's actually working for the evangelicals and the other snake handlers.
