"Daily Show" correspondent Rob Riggle recently spent some time on the Barack Obama campaign bus and made it his personal mission to annoy as many of the journalists covering the campaign as he could. In the video below, watch as he manages to harass Newsweek's Richard Wolfe, NBC's Lee Cowan, and countless others with pointless questions and bus-wide announcements of stories from his youth.

Even taken with the appropriate attitude AND understanding that if the interchange over the microphone had been real, he would have been gone instantly, it was a mediocre Riggle performance - I just didn't find anything he did funny. I didn't even laugh AT him, let alone with him or the audience.
Everyone knows about the hijinks of "The Daily Show" and it's obvious everyone who interacted with Riggle knew what was going on. Some even tried to keep from laughing while others laughed out loud.
I used to watch "Daily Show" every night. But, it was the segments featuring people like Riggle that caused me to give it up entirely. It's not worth it to me.

Damn you republicans must be worried that McSame is going to lose when you slam a fake new comedy show. I thought it was too funny.

Rob Riggle, Jason Jones and Samantha Bee are all masters when it comes to playing the clueless, annoying a**hole reporter - they slay me every time. I'm just glad that I'm a nobody, so I'll never be targeted by them.
I wouldn't worry about that. We nobodies have to worry about Sascha Baron Cohen.
This might have been funnier, had it not reminded me so much of some of the trolls who are (STILL!) intent on stalking the websites of our favorite reverend, wih this same kind of obnoxious, juvenile, disruptive behaviour. So I guess THAT's it . This is considered humor?
Listen to the idiotic ramblings of some of the Obama bots. Outraged that he would talk to reporters when the great messiah was speaking (Dum dum's it's called editing, and even if he did make a few comments, the stump speech is said over and over and over) get over yourselves already, it's a comedy show, don't like it, don't watch. This reminds me of the messiah followers outrage over SNL skits, then only to praise them when they made fun of HRC. Some of you are so drunk off the Obama Aid, you are delusional.

IF you prefer Hillary to Obama, fine; but why denigrate his supporters? This has gotten to be a huge problem on both sides these days. Let's remember that we are supposed to be on the same side and if we prefer one candidate over another, it's the candidate that we oppose, not the supporters.
Very silly. Maybe not the best bit Riggle has ever done (the Iraq stories were great) but it was very good. I love Riggle and Aasif Mandvi.
Riggle Rocks and the press corps were suitably bored and unimpressed with him.
The press corps played along Riggle was most impressed with Riggle as it should be.

Absolutely, they were all going along with it, many were suppressing laughs. Why run this non-story? Get a life! Better yet, get a sense of humor.
I loved Rob Riggle in this one. When he was in Iraq (he was a former U.S. Marine) I almost couldn't stop laughing and some of his antics (you have to be sort of a military person to get some of his humor).

It was a goofy bit, but probably broke up the (extreme) monotony of life on the press bus. People didn't seem to mind. I thought it was amusing.
Oh Lawd, some of the humorless folk on here have never heard of video editing! Watch the clip again-- just because you hear Obama on audio while Rob Riggle is speaking does NOT mean that Obama is speaking at that very moment...lol... Riggle had lots of time to tape his spoof material before the event began and then edit it cleverly to make us all feel a bit uncomfortable...and hopefully entertained!
ps... When they chop Anne Boleyn's head off in the season finale of The Tudors--yep, you guessed it--it's editing. She doesn't really get decapitated.
