Rob Riggle

"Daily Show" correspondent Rob Riggle recently spent some time on the Barack Obama campaign bus and made it his personal mission to annoy as many of the journalists covering the campaign as he could. In the video below, watch as he manages to harass Newsweek's Richard Wolfe, NBC's Lee Cowan, and countless others with pointless questions and bus-wide announcements of stories from his youth.

The Daily Show and Colbert Report are must-see-tv for me. Best shows on television.

I thought it was funny, especially the attempts of the other reporters on the bus to keep a straight face.

BTW, when he talked to reporters during Obama's speeches, they were listening to the same stump speech that they had all heard repeatedly, most of them were probably posting on their blogs.

I don't care if it was a Obama's Hillary's or McCain's campaign event, what this moron did in the name of comedy was pathetic. John Stewart is loosing his edge to Colbert. You won't see these type of pointless and overacting skits in Colbert Report. I used to like the daily show when Colbert, Rob Corddry and Ed Helms was the correspondents.

I don't mind people finding humor in the election but they should do it on their show, not when Obama is speaking to people and a reporter is trying to listen to him. And he was just acting like a jerk on the bus - it wasn't even funny.

I've never seen Colbert's show but I think it would be funny if he had O'Reilly on as his guest.

um. . . you ARE aware that Jon Stewart helped create and helps write The Colbert Report. . . are you not?

I couldn't finish watching it - I can't believe that Jon Stewart and his stupid untalented writers think this election is just a joke and that they should ask other reporters, who are actually LISTENING to the candidate speak, stupid questions because they need to entertain their audience. This is an IMPORTANT election and some people want to HEAR what Obama is saying when he talks. But everyone on the Jon Stewart show thinks entertaining their stupid frat-boy audience is more important that that.

And I have news for Jon Stewart - you're not that funny. You're not that talented. Your writers aren't funny. You're overpaid. You're a jerk. You make Carson Daly look like George Carlin by comparison. I hope your stupid show is canceled.

OMG! Get over yourself! It's a comedy show for God's sake! Turn it off and get on with your life.

I'm going to guess that you also think The Da Vinci Code is greatest book ever written, the Backstreet Boys are much more talented than the Beatles, and The Phantom Menace was the best Star Wars film.

I thought The Da Vinci Code was a good book but not great. The Beatles were probably the best group ever to exist - I've never listened to the Backstreet Boys so I don't know how talented they are. The first Star Wars film was obviously the best. It's really unusual for a sequal to be better than the original - just ask Francis Ford Coppola.

Anyway time for me to go.

I don't quite understand why anyone would have to listen to more than one regular campaign speech. Everyone I have listened to on tv says the same words over and over...I could probably post them verbatim. I am sure he will write a new one for the inauguration and try to get a memorable line that is not "yes we can" At least I hope so.
