You cannot serve as a Republican in Congress and Senate for so long and be a "straight talker" and clean hand politician. McCain is as corrupt a politician as you can find. Throw all the bunch out.

Well....we all know that John McCain isn't the CHANGE candidate. LOL!! McCain has so many disturbing dealings and associations, that it will be interesting to see if the MSM will report it. John McCain, is the typical GOP Washingtonian political HACK.

Somebody ought to remind McCain that he said he can't raise his arms above shoulder height.....otherwise he may look like a liar.

The bottom line is that Congress, the Senate, the news media, and even many in the public, are scared sh@tless of the Bush Criminal Cabal. After all the "suicides" and "accidents" that have taken place over the past 7 years. JFK Jr., Paul Wellstone, JH Hatfield, Gary Webb, Salem BinLaden, John O'Neill(who was prevented from arresting Osama),MARGIE SCHOEDINGER (filed rape charges against W),Gen. James Rose, and many more... Until the Dems and the media grow some cajones, we are heading full speed to complete fascist despotism.

FYI- land swap and real estate shenanigans have been a staple of Arizona politics throughout its history. Remember, The Savings and Loan scandal of the 80's (brought on by delusional Republican deregulation which led to risky investments and the eventual collapse of many S&Ls- sound familiar?) was the impetus of the Charles Keating mess, a scandal involving commercial real estate transactions and politicians attempting to interfere with an investigation.

McCain has been up to his eyeballs in these sorts of things for decades...

Has everyone already forgot about the two memos that PROVE Bush and Co. KNEW IN ADVANCE that Saddam and Iraq were NOT A THREAT TO THE USA just before war started?

First off, there was the Downing st. Memo, THen there was the other more damning memo by TOny Blair's aid that was leaked confirming Bush, in a meeting with Blair, admitted that IRaq had no WMDs after receiving a report from all 16 intelligence agencies. NOt only that, Bush was discussing how to falsely START a war with Iraq by provacation using a fake UN U2 plane and hoping IRaq would shoot it down. Someone help me out. What was the name of that memo? I believe it was named after Blair's aid who wrote it.

Senator McCain voted against G.I Bill. That’s a sorry phenomenon but not out of character Senator McCain was all for Keating 5. He loves government overran by lobbyists. But he was against Dr. Martin King’s holidays, against health insurance for all children. He was all for wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, in fact he wants to stay for 100 years in Iraq. That will make him 171 years old since longevity runs in his family. Yes our Senator doesn’t want people who have placed their lives on line to get a generous bill to avoid mass desertion. But General Petraeus is a Princeton graduate and he still puts his life on the line for a greater cause!

true- he's been a vocal opponent of the bill, speaking out against it at every opportunity, but Mr absent over 50% of the time didn't actually vote against it. He was once again too busy campaigning to bother representing the millions of Arizonans he was elected to represent. He also showed himself to be too cowardly to put his money where his mouth is and go on record with a conclusive vote one way or the other..

Ok, Sen McCain failed to cast a vote for or against the new GI bill because he was fund raising in California that day. However, he publicly announced that he did not support the bill and offered an alternative bill which was rejected.

A difference without a distinction. That all you got?

Technically, you're right. But let's review WHAT Crash has done for servicepeople:

He voted AGAINST Senate Amendment 149 which sought to increase veteran's medical care;

AGAINST Senate Amendment 1852, which would have set aside $10 million for counseling services ($10 million represents what the US spends in SIX MINUTES in Iraq);

AGAINST Senate Amendments 2634 and 344, either of which would have funded additional medical care or counseling for returning Iraq vets with PTSD;

AGAINST Senate Amendment 2737, which would have rolled back capital gains tax cuts to insure that funding was available to supply American troops with equipment that was NOT budgeted by the Bush administration.

When it was proposed that active duty personnel on tour in Afghanistan or Iraq be exempted from the terms of the GOP's 2005 bankruptcy bill, Crash insisted that they NOT be shielded from that law.

He is a despicable human being. He is NOT a fellow brother in arms, despite his POW status. He has neither the intellect, the grounding, or professional background requisite to being a United States Senator (blame THAT on the AZ electorate), and would be as bad or worse than Shrub as president.

I have a feeling McCain might not be the nominee. Something is going to hit the fan sooner or later.

My, my. There goes John again, forgetting the story of not being able to raise his arm above his shoulder. Since he never keeps any other story straight, I am not surprised. Maybe having Georgie close by him yesterday cheered him up a bit. He said Georgie is "dumb as a stump" but he can draw the big spenders in. What a guy, St. John the POW. Running on that after what 40 years??? This country needs a healthy, younger , sharp minded president. After the last fiasco, it is time for a complete, total change.

And the republican house of cards continues to fall. Now that the Democrats seem to have gotten some cojones,

I think bush and co are going to get impeached as soon as the General Election is over. (Congress doesn't want to give the republicans any reason to go to the polls or distract the public in this very important election to the Dems)

That would be wonderful. They should make sure the impeachment goes through on his last day in office, so Bush would be thinking he got away with everything to the very end.

But alas, it probably won't happen.

I would rather the indictment come on the day after, when none of these scoundrels will have Dubya's power of pardon to fall back on. Hope they save something for Scooter Libby too.
