Report: Crist Circulating 'Make Out Tape' To Squash Gay Rumors

How interested is Florida Governor Charlie Crist in being John McCain's VP runningmate? So much so that veteran GOP dirty trickster Roger Stone -- who coordinated a few dirty stunts in support of Crist during the 2006 gubernatorial campaign -- is quietly peddling a so-called "Charlie Crist sex tape." That's what Stone called it during a telephone conversation. And no, it is not a tape of Crist having sex with a guy. In fact, it isn't even X-rated. The video was seemingly staged to kill the rumors that Crist is gay. Stone claims the tape -- which he discussed recently with Politics1, but didn't show to us ("I'm saving it for the national shows") -- "shows Charlie fooling around in a hotel elevator with his girlfriend ... They're making out." Adds Stone: "It was captured on a security camera in the elevator" last month. And Stone just conveniently happens to have a copy of the hotel's elevator surveillance tape, just when Crist's name is in play for the VP spot. Hmm. As for Crist's purported girlfriend -- presuming it is the same one he took as his date to the White House Correspondents Dinner in DC a few weeks ago -- she's still married (and not to Crist). Disclaimer: Always be skeptical of anything from Stone.

Florida according to a new survey is at the bottom of all the states for healthcare for children. Right along with Mississippi, Oklahoma and Louisiana. Surprisingly, Alabama comes in 14th! Good for you Alabama. Of course the usual subjects Vermont and I can't remember the other blue state come in first. This is on the front page of Huff Post.

They showed him at the McAdulterers' Sedona compound over the weekend...­walking and holding hands with a female. Clearly, he is running to be McSame's VP...howev­er, the gay issue will not go away. There are men who are willing to testify under oath that they had sex with him (of course he's not gay...he just has sex with men).

Crist's sexual preferences are a well known "secret" here in Florida. He has denied being gay when asked. However, no one has asked him the $1 million question -- is he bisexual?

I really don't care about a politician's sexual preferences if they are open and honest. Like many, I don't like politicians that criticize other people for having alternative sexual lifestyles while hiding the fact that they too practice that lifestyle they are criticizing.

McCain was obviously considering the benefits of FL being in his pocket by selecting Crist. As a Democrat, I say go for it! It will definitely help elect Obama if Crist is McCain's VP.

I'm confused as to why anyone would care if Crist is heterosexual, homosexual, bisexual, asexual. Unless you are personally involved with him or he is spending State of Florida dollars to employ a lover it isn't your or my business. He's not married and so long as he discharges his duties professionally, that is all we can ask. He doesn't meet the Barney Frank rule of dissing gay rights while being in the closet so please reconsider all this interest.
While I didn't vote for him, I was still in my any Democrat will do mode (the only possible explaination for a Jim Davis vote), he's blocked the Florida GOP from spending money on yet another anti-family if it includes gays as human beings ballot initiative, he deep sixed a Department Head for being ill mannered to their staff in his presence. After 8 years of Jeb Bush that's a really nice change.
He's behaved decently, how about we leave his private life private? Or, are good manners and civility completely dead? He's not Larry Craig or Jim Mcgreevey.

Actually, I think it's your right to pretend to be whatever you want regardless of your sexuality as long as you're not hurting people.
