ABC News:

The press traveling with Sen. Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign received an email Thursday afternoon informing reporters they could sign up for travel through June 6 on the campaign website.

Given the speculation surrounding plausible outcomes from this Saturday's DNC Meeting and the final Democratic primaries on June 3, many confused looks passed between reporters on the back of the press bus.

Oh Gawd! Won't she ever just go away? She's like the corpse of Jason in those Friday the 13th movies. Every time you think she's gone, she sticks her hand back out of the grave to stab somebody!

After (yet another) landslide victory in Puerto Rico Hillary will have an indisputable popular vote lead, so, unless superdelegates want to overturn will of the people they will endorse her.

After Hillary wins Puerto Rico by a large margin it will be all over for Obama.

Please. Her popular vote counts include Florida and Michigan where many Democrats did not vote because they were told it would not count. And in addition to this, if the candidates were supposed to have been chosen by popular vote, Obama would have run a different campaign. Poor Senator Clinton..she did try hard. What has sunk her were her bellicose votes in the Senate and a bad campaign..in that order.

Nice spin, but Hillary won more than just Puerto Rico. She won the big states that Obama COULDN't AND THAT IS WHY HE DIDN'T SECURE THE NOMINATION YET.

Luckily the nominee is chosen by pledged delegates, not the (dubious at best) popular vote claim.

Oh, and residents of Puerto Rico can't vote in the general, so the SDs will pretty much ignore this.

Caucus voters should count twice We caucus in my state, it takes 20 times longer than voting. It is fun though.

This is like the Queen of Hearts. But still, a bunch of her supporters are gonna go all out for her. Say what you will, but she does have loyal followers. I'm not one of them. The Clintons have made themselves into buffoons. I almost feel sorry for them.

After June 3rd, why don't we all just ignore her.

People have given Hillary Clinton a lot of credit for continuing to fight against the odds. However that is not the difficult thing to do. The difficult thing to do is admit when your wrong and its over.

Hillary's continuing campaign seems similar to Bush's continuing to insist we are and can win in Iraq. In both instances the stubborn refusal to accept reality means that opportunities are lost and the risk of a disaster increases with each passing day.

Hillary=Bush

For all you Hillary haters remember millions have supported her through their votes and she has won some large states as well. So in this democracy let her go the distance.

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 10:37 PM on 05/29/2008

She's welcome to "go the distance".

She can run again in 2012. That distant enough for you?

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 10:46 PM on 05/29/2008

There is a difference between her "going the distance" and her playing the role of malcontent in the party when the math does not work to her favor.

She didn't exactly call Brown a "quitter" when he pulled out of the primaries against her husband did she?

“Senator Obama’s supporters in the media began calling on Senator Clinton to drop out as early as February,” Mr. Wolfson said. “This is one of the closest nominating contests in American history, and the constant calls for Senator Clinton to quit are unwarranted and inappropriate.”

Yet the Clinton campaign in 1992 used some of the same tactics that Mrs. Clinton and her supporters now decry, like declaring the nomination secure early and encouraging party leaders and the news media to climb on board.

The Democratic Party will awaken from the Hillary shill game soon. Only the DLC and DINO wings will cater to her whims. Even they will know when to call it a day. Bill and Hillary have much to do considering their new legal issues in California. They will also have to deal with those many global oligarchs who were told to await a third and fourth Clinton term to earn more billions for them and hundreds of millions for them. Yes, I now believe that they are corrupt to the core.

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 10:37 PM on 05/29/2008

Hillary supporters by the millions have also poured their hearts and money into her reaching so far. her victory in Virginia and Kentucky has shown her resilience. She may not win the nomination. But the democratic party needs both Obama and Hillary together on one ticket to defeat McCain. Believe me neither Hillary nor Obama alone can win against McCain. The all too powerful lobby that support the Republican machine will once again spend millions and even cheat to put McCain in. with the united forces of Hillary and Obama they can overcome the obstacles and get into the White House by a slim margin. But we need to put pressure on both hillary and Obama. Florida and Michigan must be counted but the only right solution is to have revotes . the end result should be a dream ticket. It will be a huge mistake for either Obama or Hillary running against McCain. Bush and the republicans may be at their lowest ratings but that does not mean that McCain and the Republican machine cannot win.
If the democrats are smart and if important democratic politicians are smart they will pressure for a dream ticket.
I do not think that the differences that are present right now while the campaign is still on will cause any problems once the nominee is decided and once the dream team is formed and once the real campaigning starts against McCain. And by dream team I mean either Obama-Hillary or Hillary-Obama.

Let go of your fear. You have been living in fear for the past seven years. Obama can win without Clinton. Don't be scared. If you don't want McCain to win in November then do something about it.

Not in a million years. She is too controlling. Just thinking on her and her husband on Obama's back all the time, trying to run the show. brings chills to my spine. It will be a nightmare for Obama. She doesn't know how to bring people together. She is divisive, polarizing, unable to compromise. Her experiences in life hasmade her too agressive. Obama does not deserve this.
There are plenty of good, decent, cooperative people to choose from.

She will be campaigning until 2025. She cannot quit. She is hypnotized in her quest and hunger for power. Sometimes I feel sorry for her. She is incapable of admitting defeat. My greatest concern is for our Party, and for next November. It seems like she is planning to take the Party down with her.

I'm actually horrified at this. Ickes has taken two Democratic candidates who were impossibly behind all the way to the convention, and in both of those general elections, the Democratic candidate lost. If that happens it will be a very bad thing for this country, and the suspicion that Hillary doesn't care, and sees merit in causing Obama to lose so she can run again in 2012 keeps eating at me. Say it ain't so.

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 10:14 PM on 05/29/2008

Well, it is so. And that is her plan. The only hope is that the supers come in force for Obama. The party has given her every opportunity to retire from the field with grace and save her reputation, she wants none of it. So they need to play a little rough maybe.

Such desperation is terribly unbecoming. The great women leaders of modern history like Mier or Thatcher, whether you agree with thier ideologies and despite their flaws, all possessed a certain public dignity. Senator Clinton lacks such a quality at this point.

Why? because she won't roll over and play dead for you Abaminations?
She will take Saturday's decision to the credential's committee if I know my girl.

Obama shouldn't get any delegates from Michigan or Florida. Why?

In Michigan he took his name off the ballot for a political advantage in Iowa and NH. It paid off in Iowa which he won. He was supposed to win by a landslide in NH, and if he had, the nomination by all historical measures would have soon been his. Look at Kerry for example.

In Florida, where they signed a pledge to not campaign he ran TV ads. Claiming it was a national ad which the TV station couldn't exclude, doesn't cut it. Knowing a national ad was just that.....national, and the rules said no campaigning in Florida.....he could have waited for the primary to be over before he ran the ad. He was being cutesy, as he has been throughout this campaign, thinking he could get away with running a national ad that just happened to play in Florida.

So he did things in both states which should deny him any delegates. That is if he wants to play by the rules, which his campaign has been saying about Hillary for months.

Although I have reservations about replying to a cleary biased response, I must point out that in no where in my original posting did I state that my comment was in support of any particular candidate. I was making an observation about Senator Clinton and my perception of how she is conducting herself. So, your rantings really don't apply.

- living here in Florida, we saw no campaign ads. We did see the Hillary attended multiple PRIVATE fund raisers with her elite donors in the ritzy enclaves.

I'm convinced she wants the votes to stand because of the advantage she got in name recognition because he did not campaign here in Florida. She's a politician and will finagle for advantage because that's how she plays the game.

John Edwards and Barack Obama were not on the Michigan ballots.

I'm amazed at people who claim to be fighting disenfranchising voters where in reality they are merely finagling for their success and will happily disenfranchise all voters who didn't support their candidate.
