Rupert Murdoch can really relate to these young Obama supporters.

Eschewing his own network's fervent anti-Obama stances, Fox News patriarch Rupert Murdoch has said at The Wall Street Journal's All Things Digital conference that Barack Obama will win the presidency in a "landslide." The rumpled Aussie conservative also said the following: [Obama] is a rock star. It's fantastic. I love what he is saying about education. I want to meet [him]. I want to know if he's going to walk the walk.

Murdoch's interview is attempting to smooth the way with liberals. Fox News has been seen more and more not in a favorable light with growing numbers of Americans.

Fox News has been Anything but balanced and fair reporting . They heavily back the Bush Administration and this Tragic War. So it is obvious that Murdoch is attempting to smooth over and keep Fox alive.

The only thing really good coming from his mouth is the fact that he acknowledged, at last, how pathetic our education systems has slipped. That is basically why America is slipping we don't educate or teach critical objective thinking.

I can imagine their coverage of a Obama presidential win... all republican guests on "guessing" on what a crap president they think he'll be.

Rupert, nice comments but they mean nothing until you replace Sean Hannity and hire more democrats to equal the amount of republicans and right of centre independants.

GO OBAMA, I'm SO EXCITED ABOUT THIS YEARS ELECTION!

Billo is a conspiracy theorist

"So it used to be there were isolated nuts like the killer of John Lennon the killer of Martin Luther King, who I believe had a lot of help, by the way, James Earl Ray, which has never been solved and should be."

More information on 'Project 21' ........http://www.pamspaulding.com/weblog/2005/01/black-wingnuts-at-project-21-pimping.html ,keep in mind that Hannitys good 'friend' 'Rev. Jesse Peterson and fellow board member of BOND is also a member of Project 21.http://www.nationalcenter.org/P21NewVisions.html ,FOX has reduced itself to being nothing but a racial biased ,radical , extremist , hate mongering 'news' source. It's time for Hannity,O'Rielly and ALL the hate spewing nuts to leave FOX. Don't let your children watch FOX !!

Fox should remove Hannity and O'Rielly .They both are a waste of air-space.Among Hannitys friends are Jesse Peterson,a black 'preacher' that condoned Don Chapmans use of the 'N' word but slamed another who used the word 'buckwheat '.Hannity sits on the board of a organization called 'Brotherhood Organization of a New Destiny (BOND)Jesse Peterson is the founder of B.O.N.D,Johnny Chung was once the groups director of finances, Dennis Prager (a Bush 'friend) known for his involvment in ""Quran Oath Controversy" also is reportably a board member of B.O.N.D .Jesse Peterson claims he does not 'preach' hate and along with Hannity slams Obamas PAST relationship with the Rev.Wright.So shouldn't these people stop calling the kettle black, when they themselves are no different ?Guilt by association seems to be Hannitys obsession with Obama, then Hannity and Peterson shall be judged the same way.We all know who Johnny Chung is ,a criminal ..Peterson is also a member of 'Project 21'A conservative public policy group ' is "an initiative of the National Center for Public Policy Research whos director is David Almasi.

not sure what the big deal is... he simply said he believes obama will win... it's not like he is asking his network to use bias in it's coverage as the other networks do....

Wouldn't be something if Barack and Rupert hit it off when they meet(and I predict they will) and he sends word to Ailes to lay-off Barack.
I'd like to see what Hannity and O'Reilly's reaction to the order from their 'Capo' is going to be.
It should be fun.

Merdoch is a pragmatist who's only concern is profit. If it wasn't clear before it should be now, he could give a hoot in hell about politics when it interferes with putting money in his pocket. He's ridden that old far right wing horse for all it's worth and now he sees the writing on the wall. All indications point to the country taking a sharp left turn and he doesn't want to be left out in the cold with the few remaining far right dead-enders. He's simply starting to cut his concerns loose and grease the skids for a transition to the winning team. So predictable.

Although I would not trust Murdoch as far as I could though, for me it's personal becasue this prick aquired a company my wife used to work for. Bill'O is a flat out liar who lack's the ability to correct himself when called on mstakes, This is why I stopped watching him 6 yeras ago. I hate being lied to by either side of the debate, liberal, centrist or conservative. Keith will correct himself when he's wrong.

maybe just a blip in a moment of discontent, but murdoch might consider dumping the lot of them,
and allow fox news to really become a "balanced news" network. they've got some wonderful shows on fox network. too bad the news sucks, big time.

You get more news from The Simpsons than you do from Sean Hannity.

So Faux Noise is going to give Murdoch the "Fox treatment", eh? What, and we're supposed to now think that Faux Noise is demonstrating its fierce independence and journalistic integrity? Yeah, right. And if you believe that, I have a bridge I'd like to sell you.

I haven't been able to stop chuckling all day. I watch MSNBC, CNN and Fox. How can anyone have an educated opinion on things if you don't listen to all viewpoints. Yes, Fox is very right of center and CNN is right of center and MSNBC is left of center, but it's not always as biased as people make it out to be.

Sean Hannity and Bill O'Reilly (Fox), Lou Dobbs and Glenn Beck (CNN), and Chris Matthews and Keith Olbermann (MSNBC) all have their biases, but it behooves one to listen to all of them.

I'd give anything to have been a fly on the wall of O'Reilly's and Hannity's office when they found out Murdoch said what he said. I'll bet they don't have the stones to mention it on their shows. LMAO.

The only person or persons it "behooves" are the bigots. If I want an objective opinion, I will research it myself and draw my own conclusion none of which would be given by clowns like O'Reilly, Hannity, Beck and the next to have a nervous breakdown on air Lou Dobbs. The only one I like is Keith Olbermann. Keith tells it like it is and for that I'm grateful.
