Angelina, whose rep denies she has given birth despite internet rumors, and who is now moving into her French chateau, graces the July cover of Vanity Fair. It's out next week, and inside Angelina shares her innermost feelings about life, love, marriage, and her career with writer Rich Cohen. The full story will be available on VF.com on Monday. Here is an exclusive preview of her frank remarks about birth, babies, nannies, and more.

Angelina Jolie on being pregnant:
"I love it. It makes me feel like a woman. It makes me feel that all the things about my body are suddenly there for a reason. It makes you feel round and supple, and to have a little life inside you is amazing. Also, I'm fortunate. I think some women have a different experience depending on their partner. I think that affects it. I happen to be with somebody who finds pregnancy very sexy. So that makes me feel very sexy."

Angelina Jolie on her international family:
"When I was growing up I wanted to adopt, because I was aware there were kids that didn't have parents. It's not a humanitarian thing, because I don't see it as a sacrifice. It's a gift. We're all lucky to have each other. I look at Shiloh--because, obviously, physically, she is the one that looks like Brad and I when we were little--and say, 'If these were our brothers and sisters, how much would we have known by the time we were six that it took into our 30s and 40s to figure out?' I suppose I'm giving them the childhood I always wished I had."

Angelina Jolie on Shiloh's birth:
"We were in this little hospital in Africa when Shi was born. I don't think there was anybody else in the hospital. It was just a little cottage, the three of us. It ended up being the greatest thing.... I had a C-section and I found it fascinating. I didn't find it a sacrifice and I didn't find it a painful experience. I found it a fascinating miracle of what a body can do."

Angelina Jolie on nannies:

"We don't ever have anybody spend the night. We may have to adjust that when the next one comes. But we do have ladies that work with us, and they're also from different cultures and back-grounds. One lady's a Vietnamese teacher--wonderful. One is of Congolese descent from Bel-gium. Another is from the States and is really creative and does art programs."

Angelina Jolie on artists as parents:

"Artists raise their kids differently," she said. "We communicate to the point where we probably annoy our children. We have art around the house, we have books, we go to plays, we talk. Our focus is art and painting and dress-up and singing. It's what we love. So I think you can see how artists in some way raise other artists."

I think she should enduce these Gems. IMO

Why did they doll her up so much to make her look like a tart?

I think the Vanity Fair cover is a compete disaster. It looks nothing like Angelina Jolie. She looks like a blow up doll.

Hmm - can you see another Mia Farrow rainbow family melt-down coming on? Didn't her adopted daughter take up with her husband due to not getting enough attention? I think celebrities should be barred from having children - is there one that is not a train wreck?

I don't get how taking a child out of an orphanage in their home country to put them with round the clock nannies in Hollywood is much of a change - essentially neglectful. No matter how artistic the nanny is, exposing their children to their celebrity existence - endless paparazi baiting and stalking. This going to mess with these children big time. I was friendly with a 'rainbow family' as a child - it was a verrrry unhappy family - just wait for the teenage years. Brad and Angelina are in denial and in my view, very selfish. This is about them trying to feel good about themselves and not really thinking about the kind of environment that is best for a child - it may not be a third world orphanage, but it most certainly is not with the most photographed celebrities in the world for parents.

Funny how several posters have come to the same conclusion. They have taken a naturally stunning woman and totally eliminated any personality, intelligence or sexiness. In short she looks like a million other over made up and air-brushed bimbos that grace magazine covers.

What have they done to her face? She looks plastic, like those blow-ups from an adult store. I barely recognized her. I wish they would stop with these photo distortions. Jolie is a beautiful woman. Let her shine as is!

"Artists raise artists." This is the very voice of inexperienced parenthood. The truth (as every parent of adult children knows) is each child is a totally mysterious package of unsuspected traits and characteristics that origininate in the genes of ancestors long gone and baffling responses to cultural cues in the here and now. You have brought a complete stranger into the world. You can only try your hardest, enjoy the surprises, and survive the inevitable problems. Artists may be better equiped to deal creatively with the journey without maps that is modern parenthood. But the artist's child is no more predictable in their personality type than the farmer's child, or the lawyers child, or the car mechanics child. Remember "The garden song" ? (Plant a radish, GET a radish)? That's not how it is.

I'm with you, dykalg. That is a ridiculous statement. "Artists raise artists."

Some of these children have completely unknown genetic backgrounds. True, their environment will have a big impact on their development, but not 100%.

AJ should remember that most all adolescents will rebel. She is the prime example of that.

Of course, it wouldn't be unusual for these children to follow in AJ & BP's footsteps and get into movies/entertainment. They have entrée due to Hollywood NEPOTISM.

Oh come on! She is Amazing! She is smart, funny, talented and absolutely gorgeous. She donates a third of her income to charity and she has done great humanitarian work. We are lucky to have her on the planet. She inspires me to be a better person...

Those people who want to put her down need to get some more joy in their own lives---then, maybe they won't be so mean.

Angelina and the portrait are both so over-processed, it's painful to look at. If she's such a natural beauty, why not let the power of her beauty stand on its own? Going for a glamorous look is fine, but this portrait has been taken to almost freakish levels.

Absolutely correct. Angelina on the Vanity Fair cover is unrecognizable. Why take a breathtakingly beautiful woman and turn her into your everyday mag cover shot.

WELL THIS DOESN'T LOOK LIKE ANGELINA ANYMORE. ALL THE NATURAL CHARM AND SEXINESS THIS WOMAN HAD IS GONE. NOW SHE LOOKS LIKE ANY 10.000 DOLLAR AN HOUR MODEL. BRAT WILL WAKE UP ONE MORNING AND NOTICE IT. BY THEN HE HAS TO PAY SO MUCH CHILD SUPPORT HE JUST HAS TO PUT UP WITH HER OR GO BROKE.

Boy are you someone who's good at telling a sad tragic story. Must have been from your early childhood when no one told you a good fairy tale. They are out there you know. Try not to be so mean to people. It's not even your life. How dare you. Shame on you.

I am convinced that the less make-up a woman wears, the younger and better she looks. I learned this early on in my teens, when I got one of those "free make-up" sessions at a cosmetic counter.

Looking in the mirror, I nearly scared myself to death. I am fortunate to have large eyes with lots of dark lashes, so I have never worn any eye makeup except maybe some "sparkly" eye shadow on (rare) occasions. Eye liner is especially aging and artificial-looking.

As for "foundation" -- why put all that glop on your face and neck? OK, I can see the need for a little blush and lipstick but it's got to be natural-looking.

Angelina certainly doesn't look her best in red lipstick, those luscious lips just need a little gloss, if anything.

Not all makeup is heavy looking and a number of us have reasons making it worth wearing any/all of the things you want to condemn. I don't wear "glop" but my powder foundation covers blemishes and dark circles. My skin is also so fair as to be a cancer risk. Makeup usually has an SPF factor. I could care less about blush and lipstick.
