The video lasts just more than three minutes. But that's long enough to raise some nasty doubts about John McCain's reputation as a straight talker.

There's the Arizona senator arguing both sides of President Bush's tax cuts. Here's the supposed foreign policy wizard flubbing the simple facts about which terrorists are being trained in Iran. He's even ducking his own admission that he needs to learn more about economics.

The newsreel of McCain lowlights has zoomed up the YouTube charts in the last week, with more than 1.5 million views. "John McCain's YouTube Problem Just Became a Nightmare" is the video's title, which might be dismissed as partisan hype but for one thing: It's true.

The presumed Republican presidential nominee is taking a serious drubbing on YouTube, the most popular video-sharing service on the Internet and the virtual town square for millions of new young voters. ...

Six of the top 10 videos returned by a "John McCain" YouTube search Thursday pegged the 71-year-old as inconsistent, extreme, wooden or a combination of the three. (The one clearly favorable piece came from the McCain campaign and focused on his Navy service.)

When Television exploded and took over as the #1 media source in the country, the newspaper arena started its decline. the news print was the last two way communication source for ordinary citizens and when the MSM outlets became the #1 source it was only a one-way channel of information with no way for our citizens to elaborate with each other or to reply to such stories. That is how MSM outlets controlled by the corporates shaped public opinion for so many years. They have been in the tank of the right for a long time. It has been the explosion of the blogosphere that has reinvigorated the new two-way communication between news and citizens. It is this that makes me and many others who deeply value our constitution feel like our country is coming back from the brink of mind-numbing control. George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, Thomas Paine and company would be so proud of all of this!

After all these mistakes and the way I know CNN and MSNBC will feed on this like starved pirahna's.­...lets just say he'll be pushed out and they'll put Romney in. Or they'll put Romney as his running mate, maybe even Huckabee..­.but I'm sensing he'll be forced out.

Remember the talk on Hillary after her assassination comment and people running backing out of the run because of personal reasons which would allow her to move ahead. I think the repubilcan party will try to save face, and say he's suffering from some ailment or his health with take a turn for the worse (which may not be true---and this is all hypothetical) and he'll back out allowing Romney to be the front runner.

This of coursee will turn the whole campaign for the past year an utter joke and people will talk about it...but at least the Reps will get a stronger candidate.
