I Like ItI Don’t Like It
Bill Clinton From Vanity Fair

Vanity Fair:

Old friends and longtime aides are wringing their hands over Bill Clinton's post-White House escapades, from the dubious (and secretive) business associations to the media blowups that have bruised his wife's campaign, to the private-jetting around with a skirt-chasing, scandal-tinged posse. Some point to Clinton's medical traumas; others blame sheer selfishness, and the absence of anyone who can say "no." Exploring Clintonworld, the author asks if the former president will be consumed by his own worst self.

the Clintons have become vintage whiners. How the mighty have fallen.

They were only mighty relative to the other crap we'd have to bear for the last 40 years.

Again we don't see the Obama campaign trying to use this against Hillary, but last week the Clinton campaign did not hesitate to attack Obama for someone else's words for a priest that was a guest speaker. Could you imagine if an article like this came out about Michelle Obama? Wolfson would be reading the article verbatim in his daily news conference.

SAD...and it shows how detached from the real world the Clintons and their entarouge are. Personal fireworks at weddings...Paris....??

I'm sure the hard working folks you know the working class allegedly love the Clintons and are alledgly voting for them in droves, have all these luxuries too...

Sad....detach from realities of everyday life.

Who is elitist? Obama? This article also clarifies that point.
Bill Clinton is a disgrace and his worst enemy. Once trailer trash, always trailer trash. No morals, no integrity, huge ego and sense of entitlement.

The VF article is innuendo after innuendo, a piece lacking substance, MOVE-ON nothing to read about here.

Of course the journalist didn't see Bill actually having sex with his own eyes but he has covered Clinton for decades and is married to Deedee, with a lot of inside info and sources. All the elements are there and the money part and billionaires associations is very real and can be proven.

Could you imagine having this horse shit plaguing us in the White House AGAIN?

Between her pathological lying adn whining, AND his still out of control sex addiction and bottomless narcissism, AND their wretched goon squad, it would be a disaster.

You obviously didn't read this article. It's a whole lot of speculation with no substance.

Dunno about that. There seemed like quite a bit of substance when it came to what Bill was doing in the way of hooking up uranium deals to earn $15M from a guy in Kazakhstan.

No,many if not most of the assertions are corrborated by the evidence. Especially the big stuff. However I will side with you and say I don't care who he's shagging now that he's not doing it on company time.

Bill Clinton published a response that basically uses his philanthropy as proof that he is a great guy not a bad one which only proves to me that the charity gig is the means not the ends, means to keep living an international and powerful life. GO AWAY CLINTONS. There is nothing you can say anymore. Spend the rest of your days QUIETLY doing good deeds and maybe there is a chance to be highly regarded by a mass of people who dare your oplitics-- or at least the ones you used to get power. Were those a means too?

The timing on this is excellent. I imagine that we're all breathing a sigh of relief that this is the lead story on the Media page. It belongs on the front page.
This is the bullet that we have almost dodged. Let's circulate it to everyone we know?

The story was covered on the Today show this morning, with the journalist being interviewed. I also think that Bill's 5 page raging response will keep the story on. The timing was right indeed. This has to kill talks of Hillary as VP, bringing all the Clintons past baggage and potential for future scandals.

I think this article which is so riviting and has probably been floating around for awile now, will have a MAJOR effect on her decision not to stay in the race. It's harsh...almost too late...but nonetheless is a must read for any close to the inner circle.

she's toast...thanks to her ego and inability keep herself in control...and also to his ego and his inability to keep himself in control.

Bill and Hillary have perfected the art of being victim and bully at the same time. Their sense of entitlement eclipses any sense of law, decency, loyalty or love. There's nothing they won't say or do to get what they want. Washington has been a great playground for them, but it's time to let 'em go and put in someone who'll serve the people instead of themselves.

I'm not sure whom to feel sorrier for - him, for being married to her, or her, for being married to him.

They deserve each other.

Bill was a pretty good president, but he's become a loose cannon in his post presidential days. Far too much traveling around with George H. W. Bush, too many strange business deals in Dubai, just too much. Enough.

The Vanity Fair article was flawed in the way that articles that can't get close enough to the subject usually are- too much speculation and gossip, with that touch of spite because Bill Clinton wouldn't play.
My main general complaint about the Clintons is their apparent belief that the ends justify the means, whether its getting her elected or raising money for his foundation, or pardoning and profiting with criminals.
His foundation seems to be a fantastic power toy for him. He's distributing millions and millions of feel-good band-aids, which do real good to individual lives. But he's not dealing, as only he could, with the fundamental, worsening problem caused by spoiled, unaccountable global capitalists, many of whom he probably counts as friends.

Oh yeah, and people want Obama to offer Hillary the VP slot.

You take Hillary, you get Bubba too. Do we really want more of this crap? Not me.
