Elisabeth Hasselbeck Stops Breastfeeding

The ladies of "The View" discussed their weekends on Monday's show, and the big news from Elisabeth Hasselbeck was that she stopped breastfeeding. After giving birth to son Taylor 7 months ago, Elisabeth stopped breastfeeding on Sunday (watch the ladies discuss nipples, breast pumps, and boobies in Elisabeth's first show back from maternity leave here). Her announcement prompted a roundtable discussion of breastfeeding from the ladies: Joy found it hard to wean her daughter off breastfeeding and Whoopi hated doing it and only lasted for "14 minutes," while Sherri loved the experience and wanted to breastfeed her son, Jeffrey, forever.

Elisabeth is so fake, even her laughter is plastic. She needs to be on the Faux News payroll under Sean Hannity because she is his daily mouthpiece on that show. Elisabeth doesn't have an original thought of her own and she wouldn't even know how to come up with one. I still think Donald Trump hit the nail on the head: she is the STUPIDEST person on television day or night. What I don't understand is what value she brings to the show? I say bring back Lisa Ling and let her join Fox, but I think she's too dumb even for them they already have Gretchen Carlson! I say she should have kept breastfeeding and maybe by the time her son was through sucking her head would have caved in and we would have been rid of her for good!

Why is this news? Why is Huffpost putting this on their front pages? Who the hell cares - Elisabeth is not the first, nor will she be the last woman to have a baby.

They need to get rid of her - she's so partisan and stupid. When you think they had someone with the brains and quality of Lisa Ling - they've dredged to the bottom for a person to replace her.

OK, its not football, baseball, or any other sport, but it is something that is important to 50% of the population.

Feeding a baby human the milk produced by its mother makes sense on so many levels. So, why then is there so much trouble talking about it?

It is better for the baby than artificial milk or cows milk, in most cases.

It is cheaper.

It uses fewer resources (no factories to maintain for formula, no cows to take care of).

Mammals have been doing it for millions of years, and even Americans did it until pretty recently.
