Former Iowa Gov. Tom Vilsack, one of Hillary Clinton's most ardent supporters, said Sunday it's time for Hillary Clinton to acknowledge she has lost her bid for the Democratic nomination.

Vilsack, who was briefly a presidential candidate himself last year, told the Associated Press it's "pretty clear that Senator Obama is going to be the nominee."

It's really simple run as an Independent

Wasting her time and money running as an Independent will give her 0% chance of winning. She may place or show but she wont win. McCain would love that, hell he wont even have to campaign or spend one cent.

Thank you for clearing that up for me Governor Vilsak. I never could have figured it out for myself. Now perhaps you should give Hillary a call.

It's really simple:
"Hillary, you are no Bill Clinton".

The superdelegates waiting until the end of the week to put Obama over the top is a great way to kill a good buzz, but remember Harry Truman let MacArthur have his tickertape parade after canning the general. He said, "Screw it. Nobody will remember this in a month." And he was right, nobody did.

Kennedy's doctors say his operation was a complete success.

Perhaps God will spare him long enough to see Obama inaugerated. I certainly hope so.

She was done after Wisconsin; she was done after the Indiana and North Carolina primaries.

I will hold judgment until I hear her say that it"s over.

The fact is that Obama is the nominee and leader of the party.

There was a contest that Obama won fair and square.

Democrats have exactly two honorable choices:

Support Obama or leave the party.

Any other path is base betrayal.

There is a report that all superdelegate senators are set to endorse Obama, but not until the end of the week...to give Clinton time to adjust. You have to love how my party manages to quash the excitement and momentum of finally nominating our candidate, by not giving him his due to make his acceptance speech while the nation is tuned in Tuesday. Way to go dems...our primary which has captured the attention of the nation and the world will end with a whimper at the end of the week.

"Giving Clinton time to adjust"?
How long has it been mathematically next-to-impossible for her to get this nomination?
She's HAD time to adjust and so have her supporters.
The fact that she hasn't USED it to adjust is nobody's fault but hers.

I believe information concerning Sen. Clinton's support of GWB's Iraq invasion deserves a prominent place in the George W. Bush library.

So what's she going to do after she concedes?

Hire some more ghostwriters to pen another work of fiction?

Senator Clinton doesn't seem to get it. That is, that her vote to support President Bush's Iraq adventure alienated many Democrats. This Democrat included.

Her lack of admission of a mistake and support for Bu$hie on Iran showed it was no fluke, and that mattered more than if she had backed away from that mistake ala Edwards.

I understand why a woman defends so passionately another woman - Other women"s know that Hillary works for the companies and not for the women or the people"s interests. You envy Hillary's power but I"m sure that you know that her power is a divisive and destructive power and you know that Hillary is not the best for to unite the United States of America. PEACE AND LOVE IS ALL WE NEED !

For the superdelegates, it's about showing the DNC that they have the party's best interests in mind, now. I suspect that we will see more superdelegates like fmr. Gov. Tom Vilsack coming out in support of Senator Obama over the next couple of days.
