Tom Vilsack, Major Hillary Supporter, Says It's Over

Former Iowa Gov. Tom Vilsack, one of Hillary Clinton's most ardent supporters, said Sunday it's time for Hillary Clinton to acknowledge she has lost her bid for the Democratic nomination.

Vilsack, who was briefly a presidential candidate himself last year, told the Associated Press it's "pretty clear that Senator Obama is going to be the nominee."

There is a report that all superdelegate senators are set to endorse Obama, but not until the end of the week...to give Clinton time to adjust. You have to love how my party manages to quash the excitement and momentum of finally nominating our candidate, by not giving him his due to make his acceptance speech while the nation is tuned in Tuesday. Way to go dems...our primary which has captured the attention of the nation and the world will end with a whimper at the end of the week.

For the superdelegates, it's about showing the DNC that they have the party's best interests in mind, now. I suspect that we will see more superdelegates like fmr. Gov. Tom Vilsack coming out in support of Senator Obama over the next couple of days.
