Tonight we have heard 3 speeches and I must say that McCain started his speech which was a bit tame for me. Too many pauses and sort of funny laugh in between like it was some kind of a joke and he just read it for the first time and found that it was funny.

Hillary's speech is good, like a suspense, a who donit. Lots of question marks and we'll see what happens. Good crowd though but they seems to know the score but decided to get drunk one last time before going home to nurse a hangover.

Then Obama went out and brought the crescendo to a climax! His speech was WOW!!! and WOW!!

He was right we are not just democrats or republicans. We are first and fore most Americans. We seems to have forgotten that during this long and bitter campaign. I like the fact that he was gracious to both Clinton and McCain.

He is also right about McCain going to towns in America. Why go to Iraq when we are in trouble here? You are applying to be the President of America not Iraq! Thank you sen. Obama for pointing that out. And by the way, our troops should come home and not wait until somebody decided to declare that we have won a war that has already been 'won' according to bush.

As a White American, these are the sweetest moments in my life. I am so proud of this country of ours. While living in Europe a lot of Europeans use to say to me that Americans are way behind the modern times. I remember I use to defend America to the bitter end mostly with the French.

This moment made all those fights so worth my while !!!

OMG - I just heard on CNN that Hillary insiders wrote to one of the commentators to say she did not concede because "this is HER night". OMG!!!!

The first AA Presidential nominee and she feels that it's HER night? Soooo disrespectful. I'm gobsmack.
