On Wednesday's "Daily Show," the day after Barack Obama declared victory in the Democratic primary, Jon Stewart laid into all the pundits who declared her nomination inevitable, ending with a 2006 clip of Joe Scarborough warning Barack Obama that it was going to be ugly.

I loved the Scarborough EATING OF CROW segment. I bet it goes well with his morning joe. What a KNUCKLEHEAD he is.

They all are. Everyone.....all talking heads Republican and Democrat as well as most Huffpo contributors predicted Clinton would win. It was only Arianna Huffington who had the balls to go on Larry King and shill for Obama.

Jon Stewart doesn't discriminate when it comes to his targets. Some people just give him more ammo than others.

This is the perfect response to all those who claim that Obama was the "media favorite" and that Clinton only received negative coverage by the media. The fact is that the media gave the more positive coverage to the person who was winning. They were giving her all the coverage until Obama started moving ahead, and no one was more surprised than the media!

But Hillary was NEVER considered the inevitable nominee - she's faced insurmountable sexism throughout the entire campaign! These videos must be fakes! Just ask Ms. Christian - she KNOWS the truth!
Clinton ran as an incumbent. It was a campaign strategy that backfired she was 30 points ahead and couldn't close the deal.

As a male who voted for Hillary I've already moved on to set my formidable intellectual skills and extensive academic background to the task of helping Obama get elected. But since we seem so addicted to Hillary bashing let's try this on. This "inevitability" claim was propagated by the media. Very clever tactic to over inflate expectation, and repeat ad nauseam that she is the self proclaimed heir to the thrown. Then when it became a real horse race they all start squealing with excited and feigned shock when she doesn't win every state. As a male I have no fear of strong , capable and highly intelligent women (paint suite and all). The fascist right in this country hate the Clintons, hate the success despite their unending witch hunts of their two term administration and hate the contrast between those and the two terms under Republican control. No other women in politics today could have taken a run for the presidency as far as Hillary did this time.
Hillary didn't lose because of her sex she lost because she is about the same old, same old and she ran her own campaign in to the ground.
Invoking sexism is crying wolf. Clinton surrogate James Carville made the overtly sexist "cajones" comment.
Hillary could have pointed out that Mr. Carville was simply misguided - female anatomy is more than adequate for the POTUS job.
But she didn't. She instead chose to ride the bump Mr. Carville's comments gave her.
Even SHE considered herself the inevitable nominee, and more than that, she considered herself the President of the United States from day ONE! What you don't seem to understand, and what others seem to believe, is that she and Bil believed that she was ENTITLED to be the nominee!
What she and he didn't seem to know though, was that there were those in the Country, who didn't want her to be the nominee....TRUE STORY!
