They're mad as hell, and Hillary Clinton's supporters aren't going to take it anymore.

Some Clintonites are so mad about Barack Obama's Tuesday victory that they've launched a web site to build support to launch a lobbying group to support Republican John McCain.

"We're going to run campaign ads to defeat Obama," says Ed Hale, a 63-year-old rancher and a Clinton supporter from Wellington, Texas. "We have doctors, lawyers, CPAs, the blue bloods, and then we have rednecks like me. It's a very diversified organization."

The split illustrates the difficult task the Democratic party now faces in rallying the troops behind Obama. Open dissent within party ranks provides Republicans with openings to exploit.

Why not just call these former Clinton supporters fools. I do. All they will get if they vote for McShame is four more years of Bush. They just have to ask themselves do they like paying $4 dollars a gallon for gas?? Do they llike what they pay for food?? Are they better off now they now then they were 7 years ago? If honest, they will not vote for this man.

Shouldn't that headline read, "Angry Clinton Supporters Assume Suicidal Position by Shifting Their Support to McCain"?

The site is a crock. The guy writes on the site "The Democrat party..." It's the DEMOCRATIC PARTY. Whenever I see that, I know its some Tom DeLay-ish Republican fronting himself. The site is meant to cause a stir.

I happened to find a Mccain blog site today, that was telling their readers to write on these blogs. I think some are angry Hillary backers, but I do think there are a lot of Mccain supporters who are trying to interfere in this race. I saw it for myself today. They have mentioned a few sites for their bloggers to go to and post.

I'm a strong Clinton supporter. Now a strong Obama supporters. I'm upset that Hillary lost....But not upset enough to vote for McCain. You see I have alot at stake here. My husband is serving over in Iraq. I wanted Hillary to bring our troops home in 2009, But now it's up to Obama... Because John McCain is not going to bring the troops home anytime soon..I have 3 small children...ages 3-8.
WHO MISS THEIR DAD... You see I can't afford to vote for John McCain. Sorry ladies..i would have loved to see one of us (a woman) in the whitehouse.
And that can still happen in 2016. only if obama wins the general election against McCain. because if McCain beat Obama in the general election. The media & other Democrats will blame Hillary for Obama's loss.....And when Hillary decides to run in 2012...She will not win. So please let's get over our anger and get back to reality. We must vote against McCain. Thank you for listening..

Thank you applecherry,
I understand that it hurts for the candidate you preferred to lose, but it's a show of commonsense to say, it's country before ego. Any democrat is better than McCain.

I happen to be an issue voter. Personally, I am worried about Roe v Wade. I don't understand how any modern woman would take a chance that the lower courts would be stacked with ideologues, which will send cases to the Supreme Court, which by then will be stacked with neocons judges, i.e. Thomas, Scalia and Alito, which will undoubtedly lead to Roe v Wade being overturned. Women didn't heed the warning in 2004 and allowed Bush to appoint not 1 but 2, conservatives, now these same women are on the verge of allowing a McCain to appoint another 2. I am just astounded by this.

Better to vote for someone that fights terrorism than vote for someone that is one.
Fact: Obama raised 55,000,000 in February with no fundraiser's, he seems so confident that will will raise 100,000,000 in June. I want to see the break down of where all this outrageous amount of money is coming from? Shouldn't you be concerned? Fact: Obama's Stepfather was Muslim and raised Obama Muslim. Fact: Obama would not put his hand over his heart during pledge of allegiance to the United States of America, when all other candidates did? Isn't this Anti-American?
Fact: Obama says, he would try to negotiate with Iran's leader (who by the way, supports terrorism!) Fact: Obama claims to been a member of a Christian church for 20 years , but knows nothing of what his preacher was preaching? (By the way, he was quoted and seen on video on National TV as saying, God Damn America! Dosen't this concern you? What was Obama doing in that church for 20 years, doodling on the bulletins????

No disrepect to you or your family, but your husband is fighting for our freedom. Isn't it defeating the cause to vote for someone that may be linked to terrorism, than someone that is fighting to end it.

Karisma, do you really believe that crap? Are you crazy? Senator Obama should (but won't) sue you. Stop spreading lies.

Hillary Clinton has worked for the Democratic party her whole life and will continue to do so. If these "supporters" truly care about her and what she stands for, they will follow her in support of Barack Obama.

They profess to care about Hillary and about the idea of women in the White House. If they are Democrats, they should now start thinking about themselves and about the country: they should be thinking about the economy & jobs, about health care, about the environment, about the war, about the future of the Supreme Court.

Saying you support Hillary Clinton and then switching to McCain is a farce.

Hello??? Most of these people are Republicans.

No one says Clinton supporters aren't upset, some even angry, but WE ALL KNOW her supporters are much more loyal than these CLOWN REPUBLICANS want to represent. This is an offense to the intelligence of all Clinton supporters.

A lot of the women who supported Hillary Clinton are republicans, who would have loved to see a "woman" in the WH, not a Democrat. That explains why is so easy for them to pivot and pretend frustration, which will lead to a vote for McCain - please. Remember the old bat from Hoboken, who was voting for Hillary Clinton, and felt she was "good enough because her name matched names of previous people in the WH"? What a load of crock, and stupid reason to vote for a candidate. Her latent republican racism came shining through, and proved her not only to be racist but an idiot. We moderates and liberals like it when the idiots showcase themselves to us.

If this is what Hillary wants, please, let them go. I can't take the "drama" anymore. Perhaps, this would be good for her lagacy.

STOP THE DRAMA, VOTE FOR OBAMA '08.

That's typical of the arrogance I've seen in Obama supporters--the very same arrogance that is making it very difficult for me to be comfortable with voting for an inexperienced candidate who is all mouth and no trousers. Keep drinking the kool-aid. The rest of us will pick up the pieces of the Democratic Party which the likes of you will leave in disarray. We've done it before. Unfortunately we've little choice but to hop on this roller coaster with you.

Wow. With the grammar and spelling combined with the quality of the invective this comes as a surprise. I had thought that the toothless redneck wing of the party was a Republican phenomenon and so this is educational.

If anyone believes that McCain's position on the war, women's issues, torture, the Bill of Rights, his ignorance of the economy and his dangerous advisors represent a better choice for the nation that Obama, then what were they doing supporting Hillary in the first place?

This group of angry women have just made their own excuses for not supporting a intelligent black man. The three words can be thought of seperate to different women: women hate that this man is intelligent and the same old politics isn't going to happen with him. They hate that he is black and not white and they hate that he is a man and not a woman. All of these reasons to hate him plus those insane reasons that she somehow won the states not couned because Hillary agreed herself they would not count, until she was losing and then they did. If these women want to continue the hate and the men who are willing to lead the charge using these women for their own gain then so be it. They want to vote for MCCain knowing the type of man he is then they would have voted for him anyway if not for their deire for a woman, any woman to win. The men who will use these women share the hate and we have to look at those very men who hate and their reasons too.

Please don't attribute this site to "This group of angry women" without evidence. It is likely the work of rabid (male) whackos who either (a) don't have a clue how to attract disaffected women, or (b) are deliberately trying to smear women by having this site attributed to them.

There are only two reasons why anyone who called themselves "Clinton Supporters" would support John McCain against Obama. First, 5,000+ seems like a small figure when you consider all of the Republicans who switched party affiliations under the "Operation Chaos" program. The GOP wanted to fight Clinton, not Obama. The fact that these people would leave the Obama Democratic Party in such a dramatic manner completes this act of desparation. Second, there is more than ten percent of our voting population that unashamedly hold racist attitudes. In their life-time, they will never vote for a person of color. The GOP has inherited these types ever since the Dixie-crats bolted with Strom Thurmond, or when the Civil Rights Act was signed into law. When you consider the larger percentage of us who do not admit to being racist [but are], 5,000+ is a truly insignificant number. We never wanted them on our side in the first place. Goodbye and good riddence!
signed, two Clinton supporters

These people are absolute morons. Any woman who votes for McCain is asking for the overturning of Roe vs Wade and placing the health and welfare of other women at risk. SHAME SHAME SHAME

shame, shame, shame? put the blame solely on the democratic members of congress who, yes, voted for these prolife judges. Scalia confirmed 90-0 including Kennedy and Gore, sound a bell,
Thomas got 11 democratic votes, Roberts, 22 democratic votes, and prorabid lifer Alito got 4 votes - the presidency will not change anything - it's congress who decides who gets nominated or not - so just stop with the scare tactics, as women we know very well who the enemies are and your candidate was part of that illustrious group by voting present 7 times on legislation to ban abortion without an exception for the health and life of the woman! He played with their lives for political tactics and personal political ambitions - so enough with the moralizing!
