New York Examiner:

If you're going to fire someone, you want to make sure you do it in a place where the now-unemployed can't make a scene.

You know...a place like, say, a church. That, according to a new book - "Machiavelli's Shadow" - by former Time magazine reporter Paul Alexander, is where President George W. Bush informed trusted advisor Karl Rove in 2007 that his services would no longer be needed at the White House.

Christianofascists, like all bullies, are at their core giant cowards.

Somehow I doubt this story, interesting as it is.

For one thing, if I were KR, I would get out while the gettin' was good. For another, they're still linked...

Actually, I agree. I suspect the "firing" was the other way around, with that Rove rat taking a big dive overboard.

Bush and Cheney, are the best thing that have ever happened to this country!! With their brazen, greedy, Soviet cronyism, and a callous incompetence so bad that even animals said, "Who the f**k is running this place," they blasted to smithereens forever, the notion of White male superiority. They singlehandedly made it possible in 2008 for a Black man, and a Woman to be given serious consideration by the electorate, to be the leader of this country. In fact, Bush screwed up so bad that a well-financed animal would've gotten a fair hearing--but probably would've faltered due to still lingering specieism, and media bias.

Give Bush and Cheney credit where credit is due!! They are the true initiators of change!! They are the ones who crashed through the glass ceiling from above. They are the ones that have forced us to actually start thinking again.

The primary is over. Obama has won and Hillary has joined the team. She is, once again, as she was in the past, one of the good guys.

If true, it's only for the reasons stated, Rove was "too hot" politically. They're both worthless piles.

"Every Republican I know looks at the Bush administration as a total failure," said Matt Towery, chairman of Newt Gingrich's political organization. “To do what he did politically to us is unforgivable," Rep. Tom Tancredo told Alexander. "It will take generations to recover. I don't know how long; maybe never."

Who is to blame for this? Republicans stuck with Bush-Cheney for 8 years. Republicans vetted these Bush-Cheney for the American people, and Republicans got through every last bit of legislation that they wanted to get through during this administration, with the exception of ending social security flat out. Bush and Cheney and Rove fulfilled the Grover Norquist wet dream of "getting government down to a size where it can be drowned in a bathtub", because by bankrupting us to the tune of $12 billion a month in Iraq, we won't be able to afford to pay for any services shortly.

Did Tancredo not get the memo to invest in oil and defense industry stocks? When billions of dollars went missing in Iraq, did Tancredo call for hearings to investigate how the Bush-Cheney administration was waging their "war on terror"?

Tancredo and every Republican who was in Congress these last 8 years should be held to account in a Nuremberg-style trial. These last 8 years have been crimes, not only against the Iraqi people, but against the people of the United States.

Bush and Rove in church -- Really? I thought they were fanatical Muslims who attended a Mosque led by the controversial and ruthless Imam Cheney, at least that's what I read on the internet.

Ohio Congressman Dennis Kucinich took to the floor of the House of Representatives to present 35 Articles of Impeachment against George W. Bush. The House session is being televised live on C-SPAN RIGHT NOW!

call your local news stations, call CNN, NBC, CBS, MSNBC...tell them to do their jobs and REPORT this!
