On the June 6 edition of Fox News' America's Pulse, host E.D. Hill teased an upcoming discussion on a gesture Sen. Barack Obama shared with his wife, Michelle, saying, "A fist bump? A pound? A terrorist fist jab? The gesture everyone seems to interpret differently."

A "terrorist fist jab"? Seriously?

Tell Fox News this is appalling and unacceptable, and demand an apology from E.D. Hill.

Original Post: MediaMatters reports that Fox News' E.D. Hill referred to the Barack-Michelle Obama fist pound as a "terrorist fist jab" during Friday's edition of "America's Pulse."

During the June 6 edition of Fox News' America's Pulse, host E.D. Hill teased an upcoming discussion by saying, "A fist bump? A pound? A terrorist fist jab? The gesture everyone seems to interpret differently." In the ensuing discussion with Janine Driver -- whom Hill introduced as "a body language expert" -- Hill referred to the "Michelle and Barack Obama fist bump or fist pound," adding that "people call it all sorts of things." Hill went on to ask Driver: "Let's start with the Barack and Michelle Obama, because that's what most people are writing about -- the fist thump. Is that sort of a signal that young people get?" At no point during the discussion did Hill explain her earlier reference to "a terrorist fist jab."

As for some disgruntleds still knocking Keith Olbermann, lower down in the thread: E.D. and Fox are out of touch and paranoid when confronted with the new; Keith called Hillary's Saturday speech for what it was--an under the gun belatedly gracious admission of reality: she'd lost and the worst, most illogical way to get the Vice-Presidency was to blackmail the new Big Dog of the Party. Keith, a true Progressive, just added that abysmal Tuesday performance to the long list of transgressions of HIlary: 3am fear laden 9/11 and Bin-laden evoking TV ads; her claiming that Obama wasn't a muslim "as far as she knew"; snarfing up to Richard Mellon Scaife [a guy who's inarguably been trashing Clinton and women for as long as we've been aware of the Clintons] doing-his-best-Noah Cross impersonation; her comparing her fellow dem unfavorably to the Rep presumptive nominee and her right up to the line appeals to white voters [something her Obama antagonists would have screamed bloody murder about had the shoe been on the other foot and he had appealed to black "working" voters].

Keith is consistent, so is Fox; I can't say the same for, say, Gloria Steinem and the rest of the oft-privileged elites whining over the loss of something almost viewed as due them.
