McCain Makes Pitch For Clinton Voters...With ABBA Video

In a (somewhat?) tongue-in-cheek pitch for disaffected Hillary Clinton voters, the official John McCain campaign blog today posted an item that professed the Arizona Senator's love of All Things ABBA, along with a YouTube video of the Swedish pop sensation's 1977 hit "Take A Chance On Me."

Not true. Golden Earring, who sang "Venus", recorded in English phonetically. The folks from ABBA wrote songs in English, as well as in Swedish.

The people who made up ABBA were no yokels, man. Unlike the US education system, the Scandinavian systems actually encourage people to learn to speak other languages than their own. English is standard fare in most schools all over the world.
