There was a story months ago that the GOP is going to be attacting a TON of professional volunteers (aka prostitutes) from all over the nation. Do they count?

I think the repube insiders are not giving to McCain because they have dirty tricks up their sleeve and have no intention of him being their nominee. They are going to pull it from him and give it to Mutt during their convention.

If this is a "telling" sign as it is claimed to be, then it must be a slow news day.

-Perhaps the Republicans don't need as many volunteers because they are more efficient.
-Perhaps there are more volunteers in the Colorado area then there is in the Minnesota area.
-Perhaps they don't need as many volunteers because their convention will not be a spectacle which requires more security for rowdy attendees.
-Perhaps the Repubicans are not having as many booths, exhibits and activities because they don't need to have them, and because it is cost-inefficient.
-Perhaps they have not received more volunteers because most Republicans are working their normal jobs and contributing to the economy, hence it is harder to get away.

Who knows?

Thanks for the comedy routine.

1) The budget sinks "efficient" argument
2) Probably true actually. Minnesota folk are nice people, and thus want nothing to do with the GOP!
3) "booths, exhibits and activities". Correct, all the activities will be in "stalls" at the local restroom.
