Fox News Changes: "Terrorist Fist Jab" Anchor E.D. Hill Loses Her Show, Laura Ingraham In At 5PM

Perhaps feeling the ratings heat, Fox News is making changes to its afternoon lineup.

TVNewser reports that E.D. Hill, who hosts "America's Pulse" — and who raised many eyebrows this week after calling Barack and Michelle Obama's fist-pound a "terrorist fist jab" — has lost her show:

America's Pulse anchored by E.D. Hill goes away, but Hill stays with the network in a capacity to be determined. Hill has been with FNC since 1998. She co-anchored Fox & Friends for several years before moving to the 11amET hour, then launching America's Pulse.

TVNewser further reports that Martha MacCallum's "Live Desk" will be expanded to two hours and that she will take on a co-host, Trace Gallagher.

Further, the New York Times' Brian Stelter reports that the network will test Laura Ingraham in the 5PM hour (once occupied by John Gibson and filled of late by "America's Election HQ"):

The Fox News Channel, which has been seeking a new format for the 5 p.m. hour, will place a rotating series of personalities in the time slot beginning next week, including the conservative radio host Laura Ingraham.

Ms. Ingraham, one of the country's most popular radio hosts, frequently fills in for Bill O'Reilly, and Fox executives appear to be grooming her as a new talent for the network. Other people will also receive trial runs in the time slot.

Fox News Channel is expected to announce the changes later Tuesday. In February the cable network replaced John Gibson, the longtime host of the 5 p.m. hour, with Bill Hemmer and Megyn Kelly, two younger anchors who also host a morning show. Mr. Hemmer and Ms. Kelly's afternoon show, "America's Election HQ," covered the primary season. But now, with the party nominees known and two months until the political conventions, there may not be quite as much election news to cover.

This gesture is played out in the workplace all over the U.S. and abroad. If it's a terrorist signal put a law on it like sexual harrasment or something so everyone knows it's a bad thing to do. Fox news and all media who will be reporting news of any type should quit trying to "see into **** that ain't there" (Those words used on purpose). American media get used to the fact that there are educated, articulate, clean cut African American men and soon one may be the next POTUS. (President of the United States) I bet it's kinda hard to see a blackman today in a suit, in the highest office in the land but he is the man in charge. If it was Hillary and Bill and they raised their fist in the air and pumped it like Arsenio Hall did back in the day (everybody was doing it, white folk too), would that be a terrorist gesture too??? Oppps my bad...no because when they do it everyone is suppose to assume it means, "we have begun to fight" or something like that!!! Is that it, explain it to me, I don't understand!!!

You see this is why things in this country need to change. The same gesture that pro atheletes in all sports, young and old alike do this or some form of it and nothing is said!!! Now when Barrack and his wife do it (something between them regardless who see's it) he is doing "terrorist code signals" and he is telling the world what's coming up next and the only people that don't know what's going on is the American media or most of "white" America. FOX News is the whitest place on earth -- I mean that in a pejorative sense -- and I am a 40 year old white guy! LOL. I remember watching "Talk Soup" probably ten years ago (Jim Henson was the host at the time) and he showed a clip from "Fox and Friends" where Edie Tarbox (now ED Hill) and the two doofus male hosts were discussing the "talk to the hand" motion which was already passe by the time they discovered it. I remember they sounded like a bunch of animatronics:

"What is this 'talk to my hand' business?"
"I have never heard of this before!"
"Talk to my hand..." then reading from his cards, "because the head... isn't listening..."
"Isn't that a hoot!"
"I have never heard of this before, " looking to camera man, "have you guys seen this? what is it?"
"Talk to my hand... because the head isn't... listening. Is that right? Have I got it right?"

Henson's face was priceless.
