...but Barack Obama is an elitist? Riiiiiiiiiiight. Don't fall for it again, America. I just saw Flip Romney on CNN sounding the alarm about how Obama is going to raise taxes on all the poor working families. The fact that the taxes are going up on the 5% of "poor working families" who make over 200 grand a year seems to keep eluding him and all the other McCain mouthpieces.
I've been loving all the talking heads who have 7 figure salaries getting so worked up about it.
When did Romney ever make his money an issue? He is a businessman and makes no qualms about that. Besides, Romney is not one of the two candidates.
I notice you have yet to complain about Leo DiCaprio's home, or Sean Penn's home or one of the many rich celebrities who have gigantic homes or multiple homes. Barbra Streisand is another one.
This is a progressive liberal blog. What are YOU doing here? Hmmm?
Mitt Romney made his money by buying companies and selling them off usually after many people lost their jobs. He made his money on the backs of his employees.
Hypocrisy is a specialty of the conservative movement.
It's the hypocrisy stupid!
I wonder if his patriotic sons have enlisted yet.
I also remember from the debates that he is in favor of cutting social security for future generations. He's got his, his kids have their trust funds, why worry about anyone else?
Not unless they change party affiliation and become Democrats.
12 million for a track house....
That'll mean over $120,000 in property taxes annually for San Diego County and its local districts, including the City of San Diego itself. I hope the State Franchise Tax Board can collect some income tax from him as well, even for part time residency. California needs the money. Welcome to California, Mr. Romney, now pay up.
