Al Gore

Carville says: "If I was Senator Obama"

Did Carville just admit to having daydreams of being Senator Obama?

This is not humiliating. Vice President humiliating???? WTF? If he comes on board he virtually guarantees a landslide. He gets to change US environmental policy. He helps end a war.

I sure as heck people have the sense to get Gore to take the slot. He can do what he wants.

There would be no GOP answer for a Obama/Gore ticket. None.

Dear Jim Carvey,

No one gives a flying *%^# what you think. I recommend taking your three balls and going to play somewhere else.

Love,
Me.

I don't care for Carville either, but he's 100 percent right about Gore being VP.

Maybe Hillary's three balls are the copper ones that used to hang outside of pawn shops.

Al is a powerhouse... and a good person. If he would accept such an offer, he would be a wonderful running mate.

He didn't fight hard enough to defend himself when the election was stolen from him.

I don't want him as a leader.

He is a new man since then. And what's great is that he'd get to work on his own policy. He can make the job be what he wants it to be.

I've been saying this OVER and OVER for a couple weeks. Dems just don't get winning, I swear. Obama is Camelot II. But Gore would insure it happens. Obama is likely to win no matter what, but Gore on the ticket would make it a certainty.

Gore was "not moved to endorse anyone". Why should Obama pick someone so unenthusiastic?

I guess Jim Johnson wont be vetting anymore...

Why on earth would Gore want to do that again? I think Wesley Clark is a great match.

Wesley Clark is also an outstanding choice. I'd love to see that.

Not.....

And I think Obama has enough cajones to pick a VP all by himself.....

Carville LOL! Besides no way Al would take the job and he's way better as an environmental activist.

And why wouldn't he? Gore would have the opportunity to WRITE US environmental policy. Where else can he do that?

No, this is all about ego. It just depends if Gore is willing to suck it up and take VP again. He guarantees a DEM victory. ...So he'd also get credit for helping end a war.

Gore has already said he wasn't interested. Besides, the VP doesn't write legislation, Congress does. He's better off outside the political fray so he can keep pushing his environmental concerns instead of getting them tagged as "Democratic" concerns.

As far as I know, no one has ever served as Vice President under two different presidents. In fact, that would be pretty humiliating to Gore. "Always a bridesmaid, never a bride".

Again, why do you care about his feelings? I happen to think Gore really cares about the environment. Getting to author US environmental policy for the next generation is hardly humiliating. ...And he'd win Florida for the Dems, likely Tennessee...heck most of the South would go Dem with Obama driving up AA turn-out and Gore's name on the ballot.

There is no downside to this. He'd unite the party. Hillary would suddenly become unimportant (which even if you like her is good...she's a distraction at this point). He'd get the Dems the White House!

He'd be the most important VP EVER. I think that alone is historically significant. Dick Cheney was powerful, but was a war monger and profiteer. Gore would be the exact opposite.

MAKE THIS HAPPEN!
