Al Gore

The always colorful former Clinton aide James Carville said on CNN today that he thinks Barack Obama should choose former vice president Al Gore as his VP. He argued that Gore would be the right candidate for combating the biggest problem facing the nation: oil consumption.

Wow, this article drew quite a few responses from the trolls....Seems to have hit a sensitive spot.

As well the liberal blogosphere SHOULD be sensitive to what Clintonista calls to the Goracle mean for the Democrats. Hypervigilance is called for: Come on, we're supposed to be moving forward, not backward.

Sorry Globalistas, I know y'all pumped billions into grooming Prince Albert into the new King of the North American Union, gave him a Club of Rome Approved environmental "cause" to make him look heroic and even bought an Academy Award for him, but seriously: You didn't dumb us down THAT much. How stupid do you think we are. Seriously?

Club of Rome, CFR, Bilderbergers: Puhleeze. Your azzes are hanging out all over and you look stupid. Shut up and retire already. I hear the Riviera is nice this time of year.

Carville, as a Clintonista Globalista pushing for One World Communism with the Gorby crowd, is one of thousands of operatives grasping for relevancy during this painful and bitter Changing of the Globalist Guard.

Meanwhile, the people of Ireland are voting today on the Lisbon Treaty, and if they vote NO the Kommisars at the EU are going to have a collective canary. Their Mastah Plan, foiled again! BWAHAHAHAHAH!

For those who think I might have screwed my foil hat a little too tightly this morning, this book is a must read: http://search.barnesandnoble.com/The-True-Story-of-the-Bilderberg-Group/Daniel-Estulin/e/9780977795345/?tabname=custreview Authoritative, well researched, and the author's speeches are available on YouTube. Perfect for the reasonable person looking for a free Globalist Conspiracies 101 class that leaves out the David Icke nutballs.

could someone please kick carville in the head already? he's gone completely off the rails.

Gore, too. Completely off the rails.

It's an ok idea. He'd be great - for the U.S. and as a real help to Obama.

However, I don't think he'd want it -- and there's a perception problem, i.e., he doesn't provide Obama with a much needed military/security guru.

(Also, I think Carville is highly suspect as a source of ideas for Obama -- he's a Clinton loyalist, and I am STILL worried about what they have planned)

Why would Gore want to do such a thing? It's at least feasible to think that he could have been at the top of the ticket if he had so desired. Considering that he has: 1) been VP, 2) won a Noble Prize, 3) multiple ongoing projects, and 4) no need or desire to clean up the multiple messes he likely would have avoided had the SCOTUS not robbed him of the presidency, he would have to be insane to play second fiddle AGAIN. No slight against Obama, but come on, it just doesn't make sense....

I think previous comments are correct; Carville must be desperate for attention.

James Carville is a southern white gentleman with a republican wife....that's not the Democrat party constituency I want to support.

Agree with everything except the "gentleman" part.

Beyond asinine suggestion. What happened to Carville?

I think he became a pundit somewhere along the way. The main feature of punditry is the constant need to say something outrageous to stay in the news.

I'd be grateful if Carville would float himself out to sea.

This would be the kiss of death for Obama.

Gore should replace Jim Johnson, as the leader of the VP vetting committee.

Why on earth would anybody want Al Gore as VP?

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 08:54 AM on 06/12/2008

He's been VP, and he should have been President. He is a man with a singular grasp of policy and the mechanics of Washington. He is passionate about global warming and the need for sustainability in energy policy. He has spent the last several years deeply enmeshed in the international movement for these issues, and is currently in the vortex of venture capital investing.

Barack will soon begin to lay the broader context of his economic policy, and has already hinted at a centerpiece, an alternative energy project which he has likened to the Manhattan and Apollo Projects.

Creating a sustainable energy future is the war we should be fighting, and Al Gore is unquestionably the man who should be spearheading it. He has the government knowledge, the international reputation and contacts, the business acumen, and the venture capital expertise.

We need this project like no other, and we must commit whatever resources it will take to realize its fulfillment. That starts from the top, and Al is by far the best person for the job. It is also an opportunity for him to make a historic contribution to world culture.

Call the role "Energy Czar", or whatever you like. Give it Cabinet status and major clout in the business community. Give it an outrageous goal - like energy independence and sustainability in 10 years, no ifs, ands, or buts. Then say: Al, we need you, your country needs you, and you are the only person for the job.

Nice try. ZZZZZZZ. Prince Albert? You have GOT to be kidding. He's probably too embarrassed to even pursue the job since the whole world sees his entitled hypocrisy for what it is.

Remember: Gore is the one who got NAFTA passed for the globalistas.

Yeah, let's listen to Carville because he's done so well and been so right this campaign. He is certainly hoping to help the Obama campaign so that his assumed power brokering becomes even less meaningful!
Al Gore has been Veep and in all honesty he's been President. He like Jimmy Carter in leaving politics has gone on to do more and better for our entire planet.
I for one am leaving the Veep pick up to Barack Obama. We've chosen him and should now entrust him with the ability to choose the person he will best serve with.

Ok - we all know that Carville the Leprechaun always, always has a hidden purpose behind what he says. So what is it this time? How does this benefit him and/or the Clintons. There has to be something. I just haven't been able to figure this one out yet.

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 08:32 AM on 06/12/2008

Well said. Except this time truthguy, I think Carville just wants some attention. The question is: Who's listening now?

He works for the Globalistas, same as Gore did. This is a last ditch grasp for relevancy.

You're seeing the death throes of the hydraheaded Beast, people. Meanwhile, Ireland may very well vote against the Lisbon Treaty, which would deal a blow to the EU, further foiling the Mastah Plan! BWHAHAHAHAH!

The Dying of the Light: Carville is growing more irrelevant by the hour; who, in the Obama camp, gives a hoot about what Carville thinks? Carville dug his grave and cobbled together his coffin as HRC's Pitbull over the past year. HRC may have her enemies list, but Obama has his persona non grata list---guess who's non grata #1?

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 08:32 AM on 06/12/2008

Wow - doing your part to promote unity within the democratic party. Keep up the good work.

Sorry, the Clintonistas dug their own grave on this one. Obamamaniacs don't have to play nice.
