I made the point many times that McCain/McBush is OUT OF TOUCH with the real world!
McBush knows how to use a gun but not a personal computer! Is he the type of President you want? Someone OLD, HYPOCRITE, FLIPFLOPPER and OUT OF TOUCH! I forgot, DANGEROUS, WARMONGER!

If you are supposed to be in touch with the world and the people in it - how the heck can you not know how to use a computer? Even my very young grandchildren can use one. But more important is the issue is how we gather and use information. A learning tool for knowledge. It's like how he had a message hand delivered to Obama's staff inviting him to meet to debate in town hall meetings and was told, "Why didn't you send an email?" The differance in efficiency between the two campaigns is so far apart. Maybe McCain doesn't realize that is why it is easy to check on all the little fibs he tells about what he used to say and what he says now. Things he did, and then said he never did. Maybe he doesn't realize that the average person knows how "google". His generation's way of doing things is over. Maybe it's too late to teach this old dog new tricks. I have much respect for the wisdom that long life brings most people - but it takes much more than that to lead this country - especially when you have to ask your wife how to send an email. My 75 year-old-mother can do more than that.
To save time, why doesn't MyCane tell what us he knows how to do besides be captured?
What a shame , wannabe C-in C and head of the supreme tech power cant use a computer ! This old man McCain will drive this nation back to stone age. My 4 year old can use ! Tech Industry must be alarmed by this news and and all tech initiatives this nation needs will be driven down the ditch. OH NO WAY CAN WE AFFORD MCCAIN the Septugenarian in the White House.
Why am I not surprised? Another thing that just shows how out of touch McSame is. This only adds to the appearance of his age.

As Commander-in-Chief, I don't think it matters whether or not he can use a computer. Regardless, he's not going to win
I don't need a programmer as president, but in the age of windows and point and click interfaces doesn't it say something about his ability to adapt and knowledge of the world that the rest of us live in that he has NO ability to use what has become a basic device.
But agreed, failing a major series of Democratic miscalculations or voter fraud that would make Zimbabwe politicians blush, he's doomed.
It absolutely does matter. If he is illiterate of technology that is not new, but rather a staple of business and homelife, that is a driver of the economy and rights issues, then he's so severely out of touch that he cannot be an effective leader of the country.
Don't you think it says alot about him as a person when he has not taken the time to learn how to use a computer. What a incredible unimaginative mind.
Even his movie selection is wierd. He was asked what movie he saw this year which he liked. He ignored the question and started talking about movies from the 1950's. That's wierd! Not only did he not hear the question, he apparently is so caught up in the past that he hasn't seen a good movie since he saw Viva Zapata and On the Waterfront!!!!!! Who is this person? Ask that question of anyone else in the world, get that response and your immediate reaction would be- "What is wrong with this person? Did they have a stroke or something? Are they hard of hearing?" And they want us to think he's competent to be commander in chief! Get real. This guy needs to go home to Sedona and count the birds flying through his bedroom.
Well, that was a stupid comment for a politician, who should know better what's happening on the cultural and political landscape. As for me, I haven't had any interest in mainstream movies in several years, and prefer to watch TCM and classic films if I watch anything at all. It doesn't mean something's wrong with me. I just have no interest in the crap Hollywood throws at me.
so how is he going to make decisions on net neutrality, reforming copyright/fair use laws, digital medical records , high speed & wireless access, and a host of other computer related issue that would come up in the next 4 years

I'm 60 and my husband 64. Our grandkids recently helped us get myspace pages. So now we're communicating with them A LOT on myspace!!
Exactly the point- no matter thier age, many Senior Citizens keep up to date. The ones that don't just aren't motivated, and maybe are becoming metally slow- like John McSame.
My father is 75, and e-mails his children, grand-children & friends daily. He keeps in touch, and keeps his mind active. He'd make a better President than McSame would, but I wouldn't want him in the White House either- we need someone with the physical energy & mental facilties of a younger man.
Why not? We've had a president for eight years that had to have someone peel his bananas for him.
