I Like ItI Don’t Like It
Cheney

Politico:

He's a highly effective fundraiser in an election cycle in which Republicans are starved for cash, a hero to the wing of the party that views John McCain with the most suspicion. He has four decades of campaign experience, ranging from a short stint running Gerald Ford's election bid in 1976 to two successful races on the presidential ticket....

Going further, McCain even told Hayes in comments heretofore unpublished that he'd consider Cheney for an administration post. Asked whether he'd be interested in Cheney had the vice president not already have served under Bush for two terms, McCain said: "I don't know if I would want him as vice president. He and I have the same strengths. But to serve in other capacities? Hell, yeah."

Since McCain can't use a computer he won't see this, but you and everybody else should:

Taxpaers pay for a full time medical team to go everywhere with Cheney. Will this continue if he joins McCain's administration? Does ol' John have any idea how low Cheney's approval rating is? Does he care? I remember thinking that no one with half a brain would ever vote for Georgie, but now I am worried about McCain. He is completely out of touch with reality. Name ONE thing that he is good at. Lousy speeches, lousy interviews, has no idea of any statistics. Perfect repub. candidate, easy to manipulate.

at a time where bush's approval ratings are rightfully at an all time low, mccain ... this is more than a gaffe. this proves that you are unelectable.

To those Hillary Clinton supporters who have decided to vote for McCain in November:

Please let me know what you think about McCain's enthusiasm for having Cheney as part of his administration.

Oh-oh!

McCain's past remarks are going to come and haunt him.

He would have been better off if he'd kept that straight-talk express on its original rails.

I thought I saw those familiar marionette strings during McCain's last public appearance.

I'd been wondering where they disappeared to when Bush actually admitted going too far in the run-up to Iraq.

That says it all! The Obama campaign or other Dem groups should make an ad quoting McCain saying this. Only the 28% hardcore worst-admin.-in-history supporters will not turn away in disgust.

Dick Cheney anywhere in the government would be the biggest misstake of all moving into the 21st century!!! For voters who have not made up their minds who to vote for in November, you should not hesitate to make your decision after hearing McCain's plans for Cheney! Everybody knows that behind the scenes Cheney has been leading George Bush by the nose for nearly 8 years. This man cannot be trusted!!!!!!!!!!!! Ever!
