Gas Prices Not High Enough For Some: Price-Fixing Cartel Caught In Quebec

MONTREAL - The Competition Bureau has charged 13 people and 11 companies - in what it called a cartel - with gas-price fixing in four different Quebec cities.

The Competition Bureau, in a news release, also suggested that Quebec wasn't the only place where the fixing might be happening.

"The Competition Bureau's investigation into potential price-fixing in the retail gasoline market continues in other markets in Canada," it said.
